Dear colleagues, () invites proposals for papers in the journal “Multilingualism and Education,” issue X. The journal is included into the Russian Index of Scientific Citation (RISC) and is available on-line in eLIBRARY.ru: https://elibrary.ru/contents.asp?titleid=64145. It is also available in one of the leading e- libraries of Russia “CyberLeninka”: https://cyberleninka.ru/journal/n/mnogoyazychie-v- obrazovatelnom-prostranstveand and in Academic Resource Index “ResearchBible”: http://journalseeker.researchbib.com/view/issn/2500-3267. We constantly improve the quality of published materials and place the journal in other data bases, including foreign ones. Papers may be submitted in Russian, English, German, French and Spanish. All the papers will be peer-reviewed. The reviewers are prominent scholars from the universities of Russia (located in the cities of , Perm, , ) as well as from Moldova, Sweden, and the USA. The papers will be accepted for publication after getting a positive review. The main criteria are: correspondence to the suggested topics, relevance, and novelty of the results described, authenticity, structural adequacy, logical and precise wording. The papers of Master degree students should be submitted with their scientific supervisor as a co-author. The publication is free! Suggested topics include: 1. Multilingualism in education: Russian and international experience. 2. Psycholinguistic aspects of multilingualism. 3. Multilingual personality development: problems and solutions. 4. Early language teaching and bilingualism. 5. The role of a student’s native tongue in multilingual education. 6. Innovative technologies in multilingual education. 7. Contrastive and cross-cultural studies of languages and cultures. 8. Translation and its role in multilingual and multicultural societies. 9. Literature in multilingual and multicultural societies

Submissions will be accepted from June, 1 to September, 10, 2018.

To meet international requirements for publications the papers should comply with the following:

1 Submitted papers should not exceed 10–15 pages. The title of the paper, information about the authors, the abstract and key words should be presented in the language of the paper and in English. The papers should be submitted in the following formats: Microsoft Word 1997- 2003 *.doc; paper size А4; font Times New Roman, 14 pt; Line Spacing 1,5; Margins – 20 mm on all sides; page numbers – in the center at the bottom. Captions for pictures and diagrams should be given under them, captions for tables – above them. Pictures and photos should be very clear and presented in *.pjg. It is desirable that the pictures and tables are small but of good quality. The paper includes:

1) the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC) or Digital object identifier (DOI); 2) the author’s last name and initials in the language of the paper and in English; 3) information about the author in the language of the paper and in English; 4) the title, given in the centre in capital letters in the language of the paper and in English; 5) the abstract in the language of the paper and in English (150–200 words covering the topicality of conducted research, its goal and research methods, the results received); 6) key words in the language of the paper and in English (5–7 words); 7) the text: 1. Introduction (the main claim and the goal of the article, with at least three references, methods, a brief statement of the major findings). 2. Research methods. Description of the main stages of the research and its results. 3. Conclusion (a summary of the results and conclusions reported in the paper); 8) acknowledgements (optional); 9) references: not less than 15–20 and at least 5–7 of them should be published in the last 5–10 years. It is desirable to have citations of articles from Scopus and Web of Science databases; 10) all the papers included into the list of references should be given in the order of their citation in the text.
