U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission OFFICIAL LIST OF SECTION 13(f) SECURITIES USER INFORMATION SHEET General This list of “Section 13(f) securities” as defined by Rule 13f-1(c) [17 CFR 240.13f-1(c)] is made available to the public pursuant to Section13 (f) (3) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 [15 USC 78m(f) (3)]. It is made available for use in the preparation of reports filed with the Securities and Exhange Commission pursuant to Rule 13f-1 [17 CFR 240.13f-1] under Section 13(f) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. An updated list is published on a quarterly basis. This list is current as of December 15, 2004, and may be relied on by institutional investment managers filing Form 13F reports for the calendar quarter ending December 31, 2004. Institutional investment managers should report holdings--number of shares and fair market value--as of the last day of the calendar quarter as required by [ Section 13(f)(1) and Rule 13f-1] thereunder. Features (1) Additions and Deletions: Revisions made to the list of Section 13(f) securities are indicated in a column titled “STATUS.” The word “ADDED” in the status column opposite the name of a security indicates that the security has become a Section 13(f) security. The word “DELETED” in the status column opposite the name of a security indicates that the security ceases to be a 13(f) security since the date of the last list. (2) List of options: An asterisk is placed next to the name of any security having a listed option and each option is individually listed with its own CUSIP number immediately below the name of the security having the option. A manager reporting holdings of options on its Form13F should use the CUSIP number of the underlying securities to which the option relates. (NASDAQ:KBAY), a global management consulting, technology integration and development, and outsourcing firm, today reported financial results for its second quarter ended June 30, 2006. Second Quarter 2006 Highlights: • Consolidated revenue of $105.8 million • Kanbay, excluding Adjoined, generated revenue of $72.8 million, 14 percent sequential and 28% year-over-year revenue growth, respectively • Third party revenue, excluding Adjoined, was $34.6 million, a 21 percent sequential increase • Diluted EPS of $0.18 is net of $0.03 for employee stock compensation expense • Integration of Adjoined Consulting running ahead of schedule • A total of 35 new clients were added in the quarter “We are exceptionally pleased with Kanbay’s financial results for the second quarter”, commented Raymond Spencer, Chairman and CEO of Kanbay. He continued: “We achieved this quarter’s results based on strong execution and favorable market conditions within both pre-merger Kanbay and Adjoined Consulting’s business models. Growth Source of Indian IT Services Firms By differentiating their business systems from Japanese, US and European companies – leaders in the IT services industry – Indian IT services firms have managed to secure prized customers from a number of global locations and achieve organic growth. Additionally, these companies have now built-up the know-how to rival the leading firms of the industry by placing high value-added services and diversification at the center of their strategies. (1) Competitive Advantage Generated by Business Systems Basic conditions The development of the Indian IT services industry can be attributed to supporting the circumstances such as the mathematical education that Indians receive, development of low wages, the sudden increase in the demand for programmers in the Indian IT services industry connection with the Y2K bug, an improvement in the environment for transferring data between outlying regions due to developments in information and telecommunication technology and the presence of non-resident Indians returning to the sub-continent after being discharged by their US companies after the collapse of the IT bubble. As these basic conditions have many common characteristics with other developing nations, the source of the competitiveness of the Indian IT services industry actually lies elsewhere and most importantly with the three business systems shown below (Fig. 3-1).
