Logic New Album Download Logic new album download Continue Sean Farner For many music lovers, album art is as much a part of the experience as music. When you play a song on an iPhone that doesn't have album art attached, it detracts from the feeling that you're listening to one part of the larger collection. That's why Apple has included a feature in iTunes to automatically download album artwork for songs that are missing from these images. Using this feature and sync your iPhone, you'll be able to replace the album art and get the full album listening experience on your device. Open the iTunes software and click on the Music button on the left sidebar. Click on the Advanced menu option at the top of the iTunes app and then click on the Get Album artwork button. This feature scans through your iTunes library and automatically downloads and inserts album art into songs that don't yet have it. When the process is complete, move on. Plug in the 30-pin iPhone USB cable connector at the bottom of your iPhone, and connect the other end to the available USB port on your computer. Click Sync Now if your iPhone is not automatically in sync. Once the song is synchronized, your iPhone must now have matching album cover images. Album art is useful for identifying albums when viewing a digital music library. When you sync music files, an album work usually appears on a portable device. The cover is usually embedded in music files - but not always. If you don't have album art for all the albums in your music collection, you can download works of art from free websites, but if you need to update a lot of music in your library, this method can be tedious. Media players like iTunes and Windows Media Player help a few in finding album covers without visiting websites and downloading it manually, but even they can be slow and inaccurate. One way to speed up this task is to use a special album art loader. These tools search for multiple art albums sources all over the internet, so it's more likely to find the right work of art that comes with rare albums. The Art Downloader album is a free open source tool that is regularly updated and seen by many as a downloading tool. It uses an impressive array of sources to find album art and can make a difference when trying to find the right cover - especially for rare albums. Platform: Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, XP (last updated April 2018) The Bliss album art downloader works running in the background when you add music to keep your art album up to date. It comes with 500 corrects the art album, after which you are asked to purchase additional fixes. Bliss is compatible with iTunes, but doesn't support a few places in the library. You'll have to send it to one library at a time. Bliss does more than just find album art. You can use it to determine the rules by which organized, fills in the missing information and corrects inaccurate data. Just go to the Bliss website and download a version of the software for your operating system. The website offers a quick starter tutorial to teach the basics of the program. Platforms: Windows, macOS, Linux, Synology, Docker, Vortexbox, NOP TidyMyMusic from Wondershare uses Gracenote, the world's largest music database, to find and fix missing album covers. You can use it from iTunes and non-iTunes libraries, including music with CD, radio and YouTube. Additional features include identifying duplicate music on your computer. It can also add the correct title and artist information to your tracks. Platform: Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista and XP, Mac OS X 10.6-10.11 If you are dealing with MP3 files exclusively then Creevity Software free MP3 Cover Art Downloader is worth a look. It doesn't have many features of some of the music download tools, but great for embedding works of art in your MP3 collection. Covers are displayed in Windows, Mac, iTunes, Windows Media Player and other music players. The interface is easy to use. It comes with a built-in player and editor-in-chief tag, and it includes the ability to import album art that can already be downloaded to your computer. Overall, this tool does a good job of adding a cover to your music library. Platforms: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 Cover Retriever is a free software that finds album art for MP3. It uses data from music file tags to search for art using Google's search engine. Download the app and select the folder you store in MP3. The app searches for missing album covers and stores them on a disc or audio file. If it finds several options, the tool asks you to choose the best solution from the album art found. Cats Park - Face the Future Genre: Psychedelic, Rock, Trip-Hop From the Press Set: Cats Park is a St. Petersburg music group founded in 2010. The band's music is not strictly tied to any particular genre. The style in which the band works can be described as trip-rock as elements of psychedelic rock and classic trip-hop are, in particular, more noticeable. However, the attentive listener will spot indie, ethereal and many other stylistic aspects in the mix. Everything remarkable and important to know about the band will be told by the music itself. The band communicates with their audience using the universal language of beautiful and flexible melodies and laid-back surrounding rhythms. These songs tell stories, both eternal and constantly relevant: they are about love and human relationships, so they can touch the heart of anyone. Face of the Future is the name of your price download from Bandcamp. Marlon Penn - Independence? Genre: Independent, alternative, ambient, pop, rock from his Last.fm profile: In the fall of 2007, the first recordings were made for his debut solo album Independence?. Marlon Penn made all the recordings in Roermond, in The Moon's studio. In the process of recording, both Marlon and producer Wauter Bude showed a vision in holding all the anological sound that would still sound like a modern era. Independence? offers a diverse atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. The unique way of recording each sound has helped to develop identity for all twelve tracks on the album. No vocal automatic settings. Without the use of any electronic tools or VST tools. But with a lot of variety. With songs of hope, love and consideration, Marlon Penn Independence? Could be Indy's new hit of the decade. Even before the album was released, Marlon Penn's voice was compared to Ryan Adams, Ben Harper, Jeff Buckley, and even Tom York in live reviews. Independence? This is a free download from Bandcamp. Riot Scene - Pride Like Lions Genre: Post-punk, rock from its Facebook page: The riot scene has been around since 2009, when they released a small collection of songs that were recorded at Matchbox Studios here in Texas. (...) They play well-thought-out, hard-hitting, creative punk influenced by indie rock with an insatiable desire to get you away from yours and dance, looking at the world around you with skepticism of your eyes. Pride as lions is the name of your price download from Bandcamp. Courageous Deeds - Flockheart EP Genre: Folk, Roots from its Facebook page: Formerly known as the Middle East, Courageous Deeds plays the style of old-fashioned American music roots shaped by so many landscapes of their Maryland, Maryland, as in the musical traditions to which they aspire. Their songs reflect the life lived in the shadow of the Appalachian Mountains and stretched by the tides of the Chesapeake Bay; is located at the top of the south and lower part of the north. Five members used a simple string and found tools to create timeless songs that sound so comfortably plucked from the porch of a mountain as a corner of a city street. The group does not claim to have lived the whole life they sing about, from jaded roads of travelers, bitter and beaten sailors to workers and lovers.

  • 2017 High Sierra Music Festival Program
WELCOME! Festivarians, music lovers, friends old and new... WELCOME to the 27th version of our annual get-together! This year, we can’t help but look back 50 years to the Summer of Love, the summer of 1967, a year that brought us the Monterey Pop Festival (with such performers as Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Otis Redding, Janis Joplin and The Grateful Dead) which became an inspiration and template for future music festivals like the one you find yourself at right now. But the hippies of that era would likely refer to what’s going on in the political climate of these United States now as a “bad trip” with the old adage “the more things change, the more they stay the same” coming back into play. Here we are in 2017 with so many of the rights and freedoms that were fought long and hard for over the past 50 years being challenged, reinterpreted or revoked seemingly at warp speed. It’s high time to embrace the two basic tenets of the counterculture movement. First is PEACE. PEACE for your fellow human, PEACE within and PEACE for our planet. The second tenet brings a song to mind - and while the Beatles Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band gets all the attention on its 50th anniversary, it’s the final track on their Magical Mystery Tour album (which came out later the same year) that contains the most apropos song for these times. ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE. LOVE more, fear less. LOVE is always our answer. Come back to LOVE.

  • Annual Report Dear Friends
2015 Annual Report Dear Friends, Now in our 11th year of operation, Rock the Earth continues to be a small but highly impactful advocacy organization. Since our inception, we have tackled 36 different issues, partnered with over 500 musical artists and their fans, and conducted education and outreach at thousands of concerts. In addition to our established Summer Tour, we also have permanent, year-round advocacy teams in Denver, Chicago, New York City, Washington D.C./Baltimore and Los Angeles. After all this work, we still feel like we’re just getting started. As you will read, 2015 was a pivotal year for Rock the Earth. We continued to monitor the historic settlement of the Roan Plateau. We also enjoyed a significant victory with the Presidential designation of Browns Canyon National Monument. We received an unplanned bequest from the John Denver Aspen Glow Fund. Rock the Earth was honored by the bequest, which has provided us with our first ever operational reserve. Also, Rock the Earth was selected to participate in the J.P. Morgan Chase “Code for Good” coding marathon in New York City last fall. As a result, Rock the Earth will soon have customized information integration technology, which will dramatically streamline how we process information from our organizing efforts. Transitions were an important component of 2015. Founder and Executive Director Marc Ross, began his transition away from Rock the Earth and on to new opportunities. In December, Rock the Earth welcomed Paige Heydon, a seasoned leader in Colorado philanthropy and non- profit management. As the President of Rock the Earth, I can tell you that we are extremely proud of what we have accomplished and excited about the opportunities that lie ahead.
