No. 25 1992 ESTABLISHMENT OF THE BOUNDARIES OF CONSTITUENCIES IN NAMIBIA

Under the powers vested in me by section 4(2)( a) of the Regional Councils Act, 1992 (Act 22 of 1992), I hereby make known the boundaries of constituencies which have been fixed by the Delimitation Commission under the provisions of Article 106(1) of Constitution in respect of the regions referred to in Proclamation 6 of 1992. -

SCHEDULE

BOUNDARIES OF CONSTITUENCIES

REGION NO. I: compnsmg: Constituency This Constituency is bounded on the north by the middle of the Kunene River from the said river's mouth upstream to the Ruacana Falls whence the boundary conforms with the demarcated international straight line east­ wards to Boundary Beacon 5; thence the boundary turns southwards and coincides with the straight line boundary common to the Kunene and Omusati Regions as far as line of latitude 18° S; thence along this line of latitude westwards to the Atlantic Ocean; thence along the line of the coast in a general northerly direction to the mouth of the Kunene River.

Opuwo Constituency This Constituency is bounded by line of latitude 18° S from the coast eastwards to the straight line boundary common to the Kunene and Omusati Regions; thence in a general southerly direction in a straight line to the north-western corner ofthe as defined in Schedule 2 to the Nature Conservation Ordinance, 1975 (Ordinance 4 of 1975); thence along the western boundaries of the said Park in a general south-westerly direction to the intersection with line of latitude 19° S; thence along the last-mentioned line of latitude westwards to the coast; whence the line of the coast running in a general north-westerly direction to the point of beginning forms the boundary.

SesJontein Constituency This Constituency is bounded from the coast by line of latitude 19° S eastwards up to the western boundaries of the district of as defined in Government Notice 580 of 1973; thence along the boundaries of the said district in a general southerly direction to line of latitude 20° S; thence the last-mentioned. . line of latitude is followed westwards to the coast ' which runmng m a general north-westerly direction then forms the boundary to the point of beginning.

Khorixas Constituency This Constituency is bounded from the coast by line of latitude 20° S eastwards up to the western boundary of the district of Outjo as defined in Government Notice 580 of 1975; thence along the boundaries of the said district in a g~neral south-easterly direction to the middle of the ; thenc~ the mIddle of the Ugab River forms the southern boundary of the Constttuency downstream to the said river's mouth; thence the line of the coast following a general north-westerly direction to the point of beginning forms the boundary.

Kamanjab Constituency Beginning at the north-western corner of the Etosha National Park as defined in Schedule 2 to the Nature Conservation Ordinance, 1975 (Ord inance 4 of 1975) along the northern boundaries of the Park eastwards until line of longitude 16° E is reached; thence southwards along this line of longitude to the southern boundary of the said Park, thence westwards along the southern boundaries of the said Park to the north-eastern beacon of the farm Leeupoort 441; thence in a general southerly direction along the eastern boundaries of the fol!owing farms in succession so as to include these farms in the Constituency: Leeupoort 441, Excelsior 442, Vergenoeg 448, Afguns 447, Otjovasandu 183, Tzobaas 218, Tzaus 225, Aimab 124, Borwa 123, Luisentall14, Neuland 541, Dornfeld 135, Deurslag 136, Klein Omburo 148 and Iris 145; thence in general westerly, north-westerly and also northerly directions the boundaries of the Constituency coincide to the point of beginning with those of the district of Outjo as defined in Government Notice 580 of 1973.

OUljo Constituency This Constituency consists of that part of the district of Outjo as defined in Government Notice 580 of 1973 which is not included in the Constituency together with that portion of the Etosha National Park which previously formed part of the Magisterial District.

REGION NO.2: comprising:

Beginning at Boundary Beacon 5 on the Namibial border, generally eastwards to the middle of the road entering Namibia from Calueque in Angola; thence along the middle of the said road south-eastwards to the Ruacana- main road; thence in a general southerly direction along the middle of the road which passes east of Eunda and turns eastwards north of Onesi; thence at the point on this road where system 22/15 co-ordinate Y+30000 is reached, follow grid direction 0° to intersect the Onesi- road; thence along the middle of the last-mentioned road in a general south-easterly direction to a T-junction at approximate co-ordinates Y+22400 and X-479250 on system 22/15; thence along the fork leading in a general westerly direction to the regional boundary common to the Kunene and Omusati Regions; thence northwards along the said boundary to the point of beginning.

Tsandi Constituency

Beginning at the south-western corner point of the Onesi Constituency and along the road in a general easterly direction to the road junction at system 22/15 approximate co-ordinates Y+22400 and X-479250; thence in a straight line at approximate grid direction 261 ° until the line intersects the middle of the Ombalantu-Ongandjera road at co-ordinate X-483500; thence

along the middle of the road in a general southerly direction to its intersection with the middle of the Etaka Oshana; thence along grid direction 900 to the middle ofthe Tsandi-Ongandjera district road; thence in a straight line in an approximate south-westerly direction to line of longitude i 50 E at co-ordinate X-452000; thence southwards along the meridian to its inter­ section at approximate latitude 180 S with. a road running in approximate grid direction 630 to the south-west; thence from the road south-west second from the point where the said road intersects the regional boundary common to the Kunene and Omusati Regions, northwards along the said boundary to the point of beginning.

UUlapi Constituency Beginning at the point at which the middle of the road entering Namibia from Calueque in Angola crosses the Namibia/ Angola border, along the said border eastwards up to line of longitude 150 E; thence southwards along the said line of longitude until it intersects the middle of the Oshakati­ Ruacana main road; thence in a straight line at system 22/ 15 grid direction 450 for approximately two kilometres uritil a road running in a general southerly direction is intersected; thence southwards along the last­ mentioned road for approximately four kilometres until a T-junction is reached; thence eastwards for approximately one kilometre, and along the road south-south-east until approximate co-ordinates Y-4500 and X-483500 on system 22/ 15 in the middle of an Oshana are attained (this point will be common with the Tsandi and Ogongo ·Constituencies); thence in a straight line at approximate grid direction on system 22/ 15 at 81 0 until the point with approximate co-ordinates Y+22400 and X-479250 on system 22/15 is reached (this point is common to the Onesi and Tsandi Constituencies); thence along the western boundaries of the Onesi Constituency in a general north-westerly direction to the point of beginning, so as to exclude the Onesi· . and Eunda Communities.

Anamulenge Constituency Beginning at the point where line of longitude ISo E crosses the N amibia/ An­ gola border, eastwards along the border approximately six kilometres to the point where an Oshana enters Namibia; thence in a general south-easterly direction along the middle of the said Oshana until it intersects at system 22/ IS approximate co-ordinates Y-29000 and X-482700 the centre line of the Oshakati to Ruacana main road; thence along the centre line ofthe said road in a general north-westerly direction to approximate longitude l5°0l'E to a point where a road turns off to the south-west; thence along the said road for approximately three kilometres until the eastern boundary of the Uutapi Constituency is reached; thence along the eastern boundary of the said Constituency in a general north-westerly direction and on grid direction 2250 to its intersection with the centre line of the Oshakati to Ruacana main road on the 150 E line of longitude; thence northwards along the said meridian to the point of beginning. Ogongo Constituency Beginning at the south-eastern corner of the , i.e. the intersection of the middle of an Os han a with the centre line of the Oshakati to Ruacana main road localised by system 22/15 approximate co-ordinates Y-29000 and X-482700; thence southwards and eastwards .along the centre line of the said main road to co-ordinate Y-33500; thence in grid direction 0° to the middle of the Gwashuui Oshana; thence in a general south-easterly direction along the middle of the Oshana to its intersection with the Elim-Ongandjera district road; thence in a general west-south­ westerly direction along the middle of the said road to the Etaka Oshana; thence in a general north-westerly direction along the middle of the said Oshana to the eastern boundary of the ; thence along the road in a general northerly direction along the eastern boundary of the Tsandi Constituency and part of the eastern boundary of the U utapi Constituency to the boundary of the Anamulenge Constituency south of Nakayale; thence along the last-mentioned boundary for approximately 'three kilometres until the Oshakati-Ruacana main road is joined at approximate longitude 15°0 I 'E; thence along the centre of the said road in a general south-easterly direction to the point of beginning.

Okalongo Constituency

Beginning at the point on the N amibia/ Angola border approximately six kilometres east of the line of longitude 15° E where an Oshana enters Namibia, eastwards along the border until it intersects the Shakambebe Oshana; thence in a general southerly direction along the middle of the Oshana to a point with system 22/15 approximate co-ordinates Y-65000 and X-491700; thence in a straight line to the point with approximate co­ ordinates Y-29000 and X-482700, being the south-eastern corner of the Anamulenge Constituency; thence in a general north-westerly direction along the middle of the Oshana to the point of beginning.

Oshikuku Constituency

Beginning at the south-eastern corner point of the Anamulenge Consti­ tuency with system 22/15 approximate co-ordinates Y-29000 and X-482700, eastwards in a straight line along the southern boundary of the to the point where the Okalongo- road crossesthe said boundary at approximate co-ordinate Y-48500; thence along the middle of the said road in a general southerly direction until it meets the Ruacana­ Oshakati main road; thence proceed along the centre line of the said main' road in a general easterly direction, so as to include Oshikuku in the Constituency, to a point with co-ordinate Y-54000; thence along grid direction 45° to intersect the Oshikuku-Elim district road; thence along the middle of the said district road in a southerly direction to a point with co-ordinate X-474000; thence along grid direction 90° to co-ordinate Y- 49000; thence along grid direction 0° to intersect the Elim-Ongandjera district road so that Elim is excluded from this Constituency; thence in a general south-westerly direction along the middle of the said road to its intersection with the middle of the Gwashuui Oshana; thence to the point of 6 Government Gazette 1 September 1992 No. 473

beginning along the eastern boundaries of the Ogongo Constituency so as to exclude Ogongo from the .

Elim- Constituency Beginning at the easternmost corner of the Okalongo Constituency localised by system 22/ 15 approximate co-ordinates Y-65000 and X-491700, along the middle of the Shakambebe Oshana southwards along the regional boundary to the corner point common to the Omusati, Ohangwena and Os han a Regions and which is localised by approximate co-ordinates Y-69500 and 479000; thence in an approximate south-westerly direction along the straight line regional boundary common to the Omusati and Oshana Regions to the Gwashuui Oshana; thence along the middle of the last-mentioned Oshana in a general northerly direction to the Ongandjera-Elim district road; thence in a general easterly and north-easterly direction along the middle of the said road to co-ordinate Y-49000; thence along grid direction 1800 to co-ordinate X-47400; thence along grid direction 2700 to intersect the Elim-Oshikuku district road; thence in a general northerly direction along the middle of the said road to the point where grid direction 225 0 intersects the centre line of the Oshakati-Ruacana main road at co-ordinate Y-54000; thence along the centre of the said main road in a general westerly direction to the point where the Oshikuku-Okalongo road turns off northwards (Oshikuku is thus excluded from this Constituency); thence along the middle of the last­ mentioned road to its intersection with the straight line southern boundary of the Okalongo Constituency at approximate co-ordinate Y-48500; thence along the said boundary eastwards to the point of beginning. Constituency Beginning at the north-western corner point of the Etosha National Park as defined in Schedule 2 to the Nature Conservation Ordinance, 1975 (Ordinance 4 of 1975), northwards along the regional boundary common to the Kunene and Omusati Regions to the south-western corner of the Tsandi Constituency; thence in a general north-easterly direction along the boun­ daries of the said Constituency to the intersection of the Ongandjera­ Ombalantu road with the Etaka Oshana; thence along the southern boundaries of the Ogongo Constituency to the Gwashuui Oshana, where a corner point common to this Constituency and the Ogongo, Oshikuku and Elim Constituencies is formed; thence in a general southerly direciion along the middle of the said Oshana to the regional boundary common to the Omusati and Oshana Regions; thence along the said boundary to the northern boundary of the said Etosha National Park; thence in a general westerly direction along the northern boundaries of the said Park to the point of beginning.

REGION NO.3: compnslng:

Oshakati Constituency Beginning at the beacon A on diagram A65/91 of the farm Oshakati Town and Townlands 880 and along boundaries A-B-C-D-E according to the said diagram so as to include the said farm in the Constituency; thence eastwards from the last-mentioned beacon along the southern boundary of adjoining No. 473 Government Gazette 1 September 1992 7

farm Town and Townlands 881 so as to exclude it from the Oshakati Constituency; thence from the point of intersection of the farm boundary with the centre line of the Oshakati to main road, along the centre line of the said main road south-eastwards until it is crossed by the Oshana which drains into the so-called Lake Oponono; thence in a general southerly direction along the middle of the said Oshana until grid line X-450000 on system 22/15 is intersected; thence westwards along the said grid line until the U uvudhiya-Oshakati road is reached; thence along the middle of the last-mentioned road in a general north-easterly direction until it intersects the western boundary of the farm Oshakati Town and Townlands 880; thence along the boundary of the last-mentioned farm northwards to the point of beginning.

Ongwediva Constituency Beginning at the beacon A on diagram A66/91 of the farm Ongwediva Town and Townlands 881 along boundary A-B eastwards until it is intersected by the Oshana which drains into the so-called Lake Oponono; thence along the middle of the Oshana in a general north-easterly direction until it meets the boundary common to the Oshana Region and the ; thence eastwards along the regional boundary until it is crossed by the Endola-Ondangwa road; thence along the middle of the said road in a general south-easterly direction until it intersects the northern boundary of the farm Ondangwa Town and Townlands 882 which is represented by diagram A64/91; thence westwards along the farm boundary to the said beacon A; thence southwards along part of boundary A-D to the centre line of the Ondangwa-Oshakati main road so as to exclude the farm Ondangwa Town and Townlands 882 from the ; thence along the middle of the said main road in a general north-westerly direction until the road intersects the boundary of the farm Ongwediva Town and Townlands 881; thence westwards and northwards along the farm boun­ daries to the point of beginning so as to exclude the farm Oshakati Town and Townlands 880 from the Ongwediva Constituency.

Okaku Constituency

Beginning at the point where the Endola-Ondangwa road crosses the boundary common to the Oshana and the Ohangwena Regions, eastwards along the regional boundary to a point with geographical co-ordinates latitude 17°41 '20"S and longitude 16° E; thence southwards in a straight line to the beacon lettered B on diagram A64/91 of the farm Ondangwa Town and Townlands 882; thence along the farm boundary from the said beacon westwards until it is intersected by the Ondangwa-Endola road, so as to exclude the said farm from the ; thence along the middle of the said road in a general north-westerly direction to the point of beginning.

Okatana Constituency

Beginning at the point with approximate co-ordinates Y -69500 and X-479000 on system 22/15, eastwards in a straight line towards the point 8 Government Gazette I September 1992 No. 473

with geographical co-ordinates latitude 17°41 '20"S and longitude 16° E along the regIOnal boundary ~ommon to the Oshana and Ohangwena Regions, up to the point where the Oshana which drains into the so-called Lake Oponono crosses the regional boundary; thence in a general south­ westerly direction along the middle of the said Oshana to its intersection with the northern boundary of the farm Ongwediva Town and Townlands 881; thence westwards along the northern boundary of the said farm to the corner beacon common with the farm Oshakati Town and Townlands 880; thence northwards, westwards, south-westwards and southwards along the boun­ daries of the last-mentioned farm to the point where the Oshakati­ Uuvudhiya road intersects the western boundary (both the farms 881 and 880 are thus in turn excluded from the ); thence in a general south-westerly and southerly direction along the middle of the road until it crosses an Oshana at approximate latitude 18°00'30"S; thence along the middle of the Oshana in a general north-westerly direction to the boundary common to the Omusati and Oshana Regions; thence along the straight line regional boundary in a general north-easterly direction to the point of beginning. .

Ondangwa Constituency

Beginning at the point where the centre line of the Oshakati-Ondangwa main road crosses the western boundary of the farm Ondangwa Town and Townlands 882 northwards, eastwards and southwards along the boun­ daries of the said farm to the beacon C on diagram A64/91 of the said farm so as to include the farm in the Constituency; thence from the said beacon, due south along the regional boundary to a point with system 22/15 co­ ordinate X-442500; thence westwards on grid direction 900 to the inter­ section with the middle of the Oshana draining southwards into the so-called Lake Oponono; thence in a general northerly direction along the middle of the said Oshana to the centre line of the Oshakati-Ondangwa main road; thence along the centre line of the said main road in a general easterly and south-easterly direction to the point of beginning.

Ompundja Constituency

Beginning at the south-western corner· point of the Oshakati Constituency along the grid line with value X-450000 on system 22/15 at grid direction 2700 to its intersection with the middle of the Oshana which drains in a general southerly direction into the so-called Lake Oponono; thence along the middle of the said Oshana southwards to the "lake" and thence upstream in a general north-westerly direction via the middle of the Oshana which emanates from the south-eastern corner point of the Okatana Constituency; thence from the said corner point in a general north-easterly direction along the middle of the Uuvudhiya-Oshakati road to the point of beginning.

Uukwiyu Constituency

Beginning at the south-western corner of the Ondangwa Constituency, i.e. at the point with value X-442500 on system 22/15 and in the middle of the Oshana which drains generally southwards to the so-called Lake Oponono; No. 473 Government Gazette 1 September 1992 9 thence eastwards at grid direction 270° in a straight line to the south-eastern corner of the Ondangwa Constituency; thence southwards along the regional boundary until the road junction at approximate latitude 18°0 I 'S is reached; thence along the middle of the road in a general south-westerly direction to the middle of the Ekuma Oshana; thence along the middle of the said Oshana in a general north-westerly direction and through the "lake" area via the deepest channel to the mouth of the Oshana which enters the north-west corner of the "lake"; thence along the middle of the.Oshana in a general northerly direction to the point of beginning.

Okatjali Constituency

Beginning at the T-junction of the roads forming a corner point of the Uukwiyu Constituency near latitude 18°01'S and longitude 16°E along the middle of the road for approximately two kilometres until it joins the north-south road from Olukonda; thence along the middle of the road in a general southerly direction until the co-ordinate value on system 22( 15 of X-400000 is reached; thence westwards at grid direction 90° to the middle of the Ekuma Oshana; thence along the middle of the said· Oshana in a general northerly direction to the southernmost corner point of the Uukwiyu Constituency; thence along the middle of the road in a general north-easterly direction to the point of beginning.

Uuvudhiya .Constituency

Beginning at the southernmost corner point common to the Oshana and Omusati Regions on the northern boundary of the Etosha National Park as defined in Schedule 2 to the Nature Conservation Ordinance, 1975 (Ordinance 4 of 1975); thence in general northerly, north-westerly and north-easterly directions along the boundaries common to the said Regions to the westernmost corner point of the Okatana Constituency; thence in a clockwise direction from this point, the Constituency is bounded in succession by boundaries which are common with the Okatana Consti­ tuency, the , the Uukwiyu Constituency and the Okatjali Constituency; thence at the middle of the Ekuma Oshana south­ wards to the northern boundary of the Etosha National Park; thence in a general westerly direction to the point of beginning along the northern boundaries of the said Park.

REGION NO.4: OHANGWENA REGION compnsmg:

Beginning at the point on the Namibia( Angola border where it is intersected by the middle of the Shakambebe Oshana eastwards along the border to Boundary Beacon 19 which is situated approximately three kilometres west of the Border Post; thence in a straight line in an approximate south-westerly direction to a point in the middle of the Shakambebe Oshana with approximate system 22( 15 co-ordinates Y-65000 and X-49 I 700; thence along the middle of the said Oshana in a general northerly direction to the point of beginning. 10 Government Gazette 1 September 1992 No. 473

Engela Constituency

Beginning at Boundary Beacon 19 on the N amibia/ Angola border eastwards along the border to its intersection with Trunk Road I at Oshikango Border Post; thence along the centre line of the said trunk road southwards to system 22/15 co-ordinate X-502000; thence in grid direction 90° to co­ ordinate Y-90000; thence along a straight line approximately south­ westwards to the common regional corner point in the middle of the Shakambebe Oshana at approximate system 22/15 co-ordinates Y-69500 and X-479000; thence along the middle of the said Oshana in a general northerly direction to the point with approximate system 22/ 15 co-ordinates Y-65000 and X-491700; thence follow a straight line in an approximately north-easterly direction to the point of beginning.

Oshikango Constituency

Beginning at the point on the N amibia/ Angola border where it is intersected at the Oshikango Border Post by Trunk Road I, eastwards along the said border to a point where it is joined by a road from the south-west at approximate system 22/17 co-ordinate Y+95500; thence along the middle of the last-mentioned road in a general south-westerly and southerly direction to co-ordinate X-497000; thence on grid direction 90° to co-ordinate Y+ 102500; thence on grid direction 0° to co-ordinate X-493500; thence along grid direction 270° to the middle of the Oshana which flows southwards through Ondobe; thence along the middle of the said Oshana in a general southerly direction to its confluence with the Gwashigambo; thence upstream in a general north-westerly direction along the middle of the Gwashigambo to system 22/15 co-ordinate X-496500; thence along grid direction 127° to its intersection with the centre line of Trunk Road I; thence along the centre line of the said trunk road northwards back to the point of beginning.

Ondobe Constituency

Beginning at the point where a road joins the Namibia/ Angola border at system 22/ 17 approximate co-ordinate Y+95500 eastwards along the said border to a point with approximate co-ordinate Y+73000 where another road from the south joins the said border at nearly a right angle; thence along middle of the last-mentioned road southwards to co-ordinate X-502000; thence in grid direction 90° to co-ordinate Y+73500; thence in grid 0° to intersect the -Ehoma road; thence along the middle of the road in a general south-westerly then southerly direction to system 22/ 17 co-ordinate X-476000; thence in grid direction 45° to intersect the regional boundary common to the Ohangwena and Oshikoto Regions; thence along the regional boundary approximately north-westwards to the point where it is crossed by the Gwashigambo Oshana; thence upstream along the middle of the said Oshana to the southernmost point of the ; thence along the middle of the tributary in a general northerly direction to system 22/17 co-ordinate X-493500; thence in grid direction 90° to co­ ordinate Y+ 102500; thence in grid direction 180° to co-ordinate X-497000; No. 473 Government Gazette I September 1992 II

Eenhana Constituency

Beginning at the point where a road joins the Namibia/ Angola border at system 22/ 17 approximate co-ordinate Y+ 73000 eastwards along the border to Boundary Beacon 26; thence in grid direction 0° to intersect the Eenhana­ district road; thence eastwards along the middle of the said road to the turn-off south of Elundu of the road leading in a general southerly and south-westerly direction; thence along the middle of the last-mentioned road until it crosses the Ompako Oshana south of Ohamwimbi; thence along the middle of the said Oshana in a general south-south-westerly direction until it intersects the regional boundary common to the Ohangwena and Oshikoto Regions; thence along the regional boundary in an approximate north­ westerly direction to the south-eastern corner of the ; thence along system 22/ 17 grid direction 225° to co-ordinate X-476000 in the middle of the road to Ehoma; thence in a general northerly then north­ easterly direction along the middle of the said road to system 22/17 co­ ordinate Y+73500; thence in grid direction 180° to co-ordinate X-502000; thence in grid direction 270° to intersect the road north of Eenhana; thence in a general northerly direction along the middle of the last-men\ioned road to the point of beginning.

Omundaungilo Constituency

Engodi Constituency

Gobabis Constituency Beginning at the northernmost corner beacon of the farm Lindenhof 205 so as to include it in the , in a general easterly direction along the boundaries of the Steinhausen Constituency to the north-eastern corner beacon of the farm Elim 724, thence in a general southerly direction along the relevant boundaries of the following farms so as to include them in the Gobabis Constituency: Elim 724, Harem 382, Eava 383, Dowen 384, Otjimukandi 178, Okahao 177, Farm 176, Farm 175, Farm 170, Townlands of Gobabis 114, Kakus 73, Karossewie 72, N abatsaub 71, Spatzenfeld 70, Kaitzaub 68, Farm 59; Kuduberg 60, Tahiti 61, Auros 62, Louis Botha 63, Smuts 64, Aais 131, Aais 30 and thence westwards so as to include the following farms in the Gobabis Constituency: Aais 30, Kansas 34, and Wyoming 36; thence in a general northerly direction along the common boundaries of the districts of Windhoek and Gobabis as defined in Schedule I to Government Notice R.1148 of 1972 and Government Notice 313 of 1976, respectively, to the point of beginning.

Buitepos Constituency Beginning at the north-eastern corner beacon of the farm Elim 724 generally eastwards along the southern boundary of the Steinhausen Constituency to the south-eastern corner beacon of the Farm 447; thence southwards in a straight line to the elbow of the international border between Namibia and Botswana at 22° S latitude /20° E longitude; thence southwards along the 20th meridian to latitude 23° S; thence westwards along the relevant borders of the following farms so as to include them in the Buitepos Constituency: Soronto 734, Nui-Sie 376, Farm 375, Goreb 374, Nuiba373, Elsdale 372, Kentucky 371, Masindi 370, Semliki 369, Farm 492, Rosendal496, Panda 495, Ruby 494, Anaheib 493, Farm 525, Farm 526, Claudius 527; thence from the south-western corner beacon of the last-mentioned farm, the boundary runs in a general northerly direction, coinciding with the eastern boundaries of the Gobabis Constituency, to the point of beginning.

Aminuis Constituency This Constituency comprises: (a) That part of the district of Gobabis as defined in Government Notice 313 of 1976, which has not been taken up in the Steinhausen, Gobabis and Buitepos Constituencies;

This Constituency comprises Blocks A, Band F of the Rehoboth Town Area, plus that part of the farm Rehoboth Townlands 302 lying west of Trunk Road I, and properties lying within the boundary of the Farm 302.

Rehoboth East Urban Constituency.

This Constituency comprises Blocks B, C and E of the Rehoboth Town Area, plus that part of the farm Rehoboth Townlands 302 lying east of Trunk Road I, and properties lying within the boundary of Farm 302.

Rehoboth Rural Constituency This Constituency comprises the district of Rehoboth, as defined in Schedule G to Government Notice R.1148 of 1972 before the amendment of the boundaries of the said district by Official Notice 92 of 1989 of the former Government of Rehoboth, but excluding - (a) that part of the said district referred to in paragraph (b) of the definition of REGION NO. II: KHOMAS REGION in Proclamation 6 of 1992.

(b) Blocks A, B, C, v, 1: and F of the Rehoboth Town Area; and the Remainder of the farm Rehoboth Townlands 302 and properties falling within its outer limits.

Mariental Rural Constituency This Constituency comprises that part of the district of Mariental as defined in Schedule F to Government Notice R.1148 of 1972 before the amendment of the boundaries of the said district by Government Notice 22 of 1989, . which lies to the east of Trunk Road BI, but excluding the municipal area of Mariental and that part of falling into this area (north-eastern part of Namaland), which lies to the east of Trunk Road Bl.

Mariental Urban Constituency This Constituency comprises the Municipal Area of Mariental plus that part of the district of Mariental, as defined in Schedule F to Government Notice R.1148 of 1972 before the amendment of the boundaries ofthe said district by Government Notice 22 of 1989, which lies to the west of Trunk Road 1 but with the exclusion of that part of Namaland which is included in the Gibeon Constituency.

This Constituency comprises the whole of the district of Maltahohe, as defined in Schedule E to Government Notice R.1l48 of 1972 before the amendment of the boundaries of the said district by Government Notice 22 of 1989; that part of the district ofSwakopmund referred to in paragraph (a) of the definition of REGION NO. 12: HARDAP REGION in Pro­ clamation 6 of 1992, and the off-shore island commonly known as Hollandsbird Island; and that part of Namaland which falls within the district of Mariental as defined in Schedule F to Government Notice R. Berseba Constituency

This Constituency comprises the whole of the district of Bethanie, as defined in Schedule C to Government Notice R.1148 of 1972 plus such part of N amaland as was formerly situated within the district of Keetmanshoop as defined in Schedule B to Government Notice R.I 148 of 1972.

Liideritz Constituency

This Constituency comprises the district of Liideritz as defined in Schedule D to Government Notice R.1148 of 1972 plus the off-shore islands of Namibia situated between parallel of latitude 25° south and the mouth of the , less the Constituency as defined.

Oranjemund Constituency

Beginning at the easternmost beacon of the farm Zebrafontein 87 in an anti-clockwise direction along the boundaries of the farms Zebrafontein 87 and Trekpoort 96 so as to exclude these farms from the , until the point is reached where the track shown by small reo dots on the 1979 map crosses the western boundary of the last-mentioned farm; thence along the track in a general southerly direction and along the southern fork until it-joins the main Liideritz-Oranjemund road; thence along the road southwards to its junction with the secondary road running westwards; thence along the said secondary road and its prolongation in a straight line to a point on the coast line; thence along the limits of the district of Liideritz as defined in Schedule D to Government Notice R.l 148 of 1972 in an anti-clockwise direction to the point of beginning, including the northern half of the bed ofthe Orange River from its mouth to its confluence with the Fish River. 28 Government Gazette I September 1992 No. 473

This Constituency comprises the district of Karasburg, as defined in Schedule A to Government Notice R.1148 of 1972 and includes the northern half of the bed of the Orange River from line of longitude 200E to the confluence with the Fish River.

Keetmanshoop Rural Constituency

This Constituency comprises the Township of Kronlein and the district of Keetmanshoop as defined in Schedule B to Government Notice R.1148 of 1972 but excludes the remaining part of the Municipal Area of Keetmans­ hoop and that part of N amaland which has been allotted to the Constituency.
