We at American Airlines have joined forces with the United Way to form the Miles to Move Forward program to help provide transportation to those affected by Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath in the Gulf Coast region. As you know, thousands were separated from their homes and loved ones by this terrible tragedy. They are depending on the kindness of others to help reconnect with their families and reconstruct their lives. American has donated one million AAdvantage® miles — miles that have already been put to good use. Donated miles serve a variety of travel needs for evacuees, such as relocation, reuniting families, and when possible, returning home. You can help by donating a minimum of 1,000 AAdvantage miles. Simply download and print the donation form (requires Adobe Acrobat reader), complete the required information, and return it to American Airlines at the fax number or address below. Box 619688 DFW Airport, TX 75261-9688 Your AAdvantage miles can give hope to one of the many people who have been affected by this tragedy. The need is great, so we urge you to be generous. With more than 50 million American Airlines AAdvantage members worldwide, the Miles to Move Forward program can make a tremendous difference. Thank you for joining American Airlines, the AAdvantage program, and the United Way in this effort! Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
