MINUTES OF KEYWORTH PARISH COUNCIL PLANNING MEETING IN THE FEIGNIES ROOM ON MONDAY 6 October 2014 AT 7.30PM

15/2502 APOLOGIES

15/2503 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
There were no declarations of interest.
15/2504 MINUTES
The minutes of the meeting held 8 September 2014 were APPROVED and signed by Cllr. Abbey as a true record.
15/2505 MATTERS ARISING
15/2496[a]. Cllr Abbey reported that she had been in further contact with David Mitchell (Rushcliffe Borough Council) who confirmed the following: i. Any pre-application meetings between the applicant and planning department are held in confidence. ii. It is the choice of the applicant if they wish to make notes on their points. These notes do not have to be agreed by the planning department as they are not official. The applicant is entitled to submit notes on their discussions with the planners. However, if the notes are part of the application, it does not mean they have been ratified.
David Mitchell confirmed that he would be contacting the planning officer who was at the meeting.
15/2496[b]. Cllr S. Boote asked if there was any update on the situation with Plumtree Restaurant; Cllr Abbey confirmed that the Borough Council was still waiting for evidence of the ten year trading period.
15/2497[b]. Cllr S. Boote confirmed he had been in contact with Duncan Collings regarding the review of street trading areas and would be circulating copies of the correspondence to committee members. It was agreed that the matter be referred to the next Full Council meeting and the Clerk be asked to include this as an agenda item.

15/2509 CONSERVATION AREA
Cllr Abbey confirmed there would be a Conservation Area Census Event in the Centenary Lounge on the afternoon of 7 November 2014.
15/2510 NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN
Cllr Abbey reported that she had done a presentation, with Cllr Chmara, to the Keyworth W.I. and that she had also received some general comments from Keyworth Medical Practice.
The Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group had met on 18 September 2014 to consider sites in relation to the green belt, transport, landscape and sustainability.
The next meeting is scheduled for 21 October 2014.
There being no further business the Chairman closed the meeting at approximately 9 pm.
