Bible Verse of the Month In May, the four year old classes will be getting ready for the Mother’s Day 3 & 4 Year Olds: celebration, “Muffins With Mom.” This “Trust in the Lord with all your heart.” is truly a labor of love and the children (Proverbs 3:5) take great pride in making this a memorable day for Mom. Happy April and Happy Easter Our Annual Ice Cream Social / End of everyone! It’s hard to believe it is the Year Picnic will be held on Saturday, next to the last month of school already May 16th from 11:30-1:30pm. To correspond your calendars and watch for more with this unit we have an in-house field details to come. We look forward to trip by Reptile Wonders. This non-profit seeing all of you there! reptile rescue organization brings many “creepy-crawly” animals to our school, including small and LARGE turtles and snakes, several types of lizards, a kimono dragon and other interesting reptiles! The children have an opportunity to touch some on the animals if they would like and it is always a fun and informative program. We also have class pictures taken in April and individual pictures can be “Moving On” taken as well. Unlike the fall pictures, these photos do need to be paid for Ceremony ahead of time and forms will be going home after the Easter break. I will also be doing my Poison Prevention lesson with the classes this month. Usually I do this lesson in March but with Easter coming early this year March was just too busy!!

Speaking of busy, these last two months will be very especially busy and will have some schedule changes and additions because of making up snow days. Please look at your child’s calendars closely, especially their May calendar, as many classes will be coming in on additional days and/or at earlier times as we make-up days missed. Many classes will have an opportunity to eat lunch at school, something the children love! Just remember, if you are packing your child’s lunch we do not have space to refrigerate lunches so please pack an icepack if needed. Also, please be aware that there are many allergies in the school so we ask that if possible you do not pack peanut butter in your child’s lunch. Thanks for helping us keep all our students safe at school.

Again, Easter Blessings to all of you!
