Parade Rules & Information Sheboygan 4th of July Parade Tuesday, July 4, 2017
1. Parade line-up begins at 7:30am and participants are asked to be at their designated position by 8:45am. Parade will commence at 9:00am.
2. No person participating in the parade shall throw, toss, pitch or otherwise distribute items by any other means than personally handing such items to spectators along the parade route. Do not cause spectators to leave the sidelines and enter the parade.
3. Drinking of intoxicants by parade participants during the parade is prohibited.
4. Roller or In-line skates, skateboards, battery operated ride-ons and non-motorized scooters are prohibited.
5. Parade participants shall not hinder the progress of the parade. Please maintain a steady distance in your line-up and keep the parade moving in a timely fashion.
6. Dress Code: you must wear your Johnsonville provided t-shirt with appropriate pants/shorts. Jeans, shorts, skorts, capris are allowed; no short shorts or miniskirts will be allowed.
7. You must sign-up through your facility Best Place To Work Team by Friday, June 23, 2017.
8. You must sign the Authorization and Release Form prior to the beginning of the parade.
9. All minors must have their parent/legal guardian sign the Authorization and Release Form prior to the beginning of the parade.
10. Members/parents/legal guardians will be responsible for their minor children before, during and after the parade. This includes exhibiting appropriate behavior and getting them to/from the parade route on time. Remember, we are representatives of Johnsonville!
11. Decorations for bikes/trikes/big wheels will be available before the parade if you wish to do so. We will have tape, flags and streamers available for you in the line-up. 12. Kids and adults that will be walking: there will be clappers, pom poms and flags for you to carry and wave during the parade.
