Discussion Questions for Video: Video Questions: a. Bill Gates uses the term “global failure” to refer to the Ebola outbreak. What does that term mean to you? How did we fail in the Ebola outbreak? b. Gates cites the heroic work of health workers as one of the reasons that the epidemic was contained. Where might engineers fit into the heroic work? c. Discuss each of the strategies needed to fight the next outbreak. What are the challenges in implementing these strategies? i. Strengthen Health Systems ii. Create a Medical Core iii.
