CALL TO ORDER: A meeting of the Subordinate Special Conference of the Virginia Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers was called to order at 9:00 a.m.

PRESIDING: J. Michael Williams, F.S.L., Agency Subordinate

STAFF PRESENT: Elizabeth Young, Executive Director Jeanette Meade, Administrative Assistant Gayle E. Miller, Senior Adjudication Analyst

OTHERS PRESENT: Stacy Lee, Administrative Assistant Intern

Barry Garnett, F.S.T. The hearing in the matter of Barry Garnett, F.S.T. was held to #107936 discuss and consider your second application for the Resident Trainee Program in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Mr. Garnett was present.

Conclusion: Mr. Williams, Agency Subordinate, advised Mr. Garnett that he would be receiving a copy of the recommendation in writing in approximately 90 days. This recommendation would be presented to the Board on September 12, 2006.

After the conclusion, Mr. Williams, Agency Subordinate adjourned the meeting with Mr. Garnett.

Jason Jenkins, F.S.T. The hearing in the matter of Jason Jenkins, F.S.T. was held to discuss and #107934 consider an extension as a funeral service trainee in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Mr. Jenkins was present.

Conclusion: Mr. Williams, Agency Subordinate, advised Mr. Jenkins that he would be receiving a copy of the recommendation in writing in approximately 90 days. Karen Davis, F.S.T. The hearing in the matter of Karen Davis, F.S.L. was held to discuss #107935 and consider an extension as a funeral service trainee in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Ms. Davis was present

Conclusion: Mr. Williams, Agency Subordinate, advised Ms. Davis that he would be receiving a copy of the recommendation in writing in approximately 90 days. This recommendation would be presented to the Board on September 12, 2006.

Carrell Grandle, F.S.T. The hearing in the matter of Carrell Grandle, F.S.T. was held to discus #104080 and consider an extension as a funeral service trainee in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Mr. Grandle was present
