BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY II INDEPENDENT VIDEO PROJECT

Your video project must contain the following for grading purposes: Requirement Points Deductions Possible A complete storyboard/script. All dialogue must be planned out, though actors are allowed 100 the freedom to deviate and improvise Filming must be done either during class time or after school. Once the project editing 20 begins, no filming should be done at school. At least five sound effects must be used for effect (list them here)-- 25 o o o o o At least two places in the movie should have some music in the background for effect (list 20 songs/music here)-- o o o At least three transitions should be used in post-production (list transitions used here)-- 15 o o o At least three filter effects should be used in post-production (list filters here)-- 15 o o o At least two screens must include text (can be opening screens 20 Movie must have closing credits that scroll across the screen over rolling edits/bloopers 10 Movie may be silly, but it must have a point and the storyline must make sense 25 Actors should be in an appropriate environment, either real or a façade, and should be 50 dressed appropriately for their roles Lighting should be carefully considered (be sure actors can be seen 30 Sound is crucial. Be careful about filming in wind or putting the camera too far from the 30 action. If you want to use a long shot, film the distance, but do the dialogue at a different time closer to the action and add this in editing Use a variety of camera angles; lack of variety will result in reduction of grade 40 Turned in on time --deduct if late 0 Peer Evaluations and Class Participation (all must be involved in filming, editing, and acting) 100 TOTAL 500
