OBJECTIVE & ALIGNMENT:

To ensure collaborative partnerships among school, parents and community, Springhill Lake Elementary accepts the Prince George’s County Name of School Board of Education system-wide Family Involvement Policy and has aligned the goals, objectives and activities herein accordingly.

GOAL 1: By June 2008 _Springhill Lake Elementary 100% of the parents and families will be encouraged to participate in the education of their children at home and at school.

GOAL 2: By October 2007 Springhill Lake Elementary will establish an effective plan for two-way communication with all parents and families, respecting the diversity and differing needs of families.

GOAL 3: By June 2008 Springhill Lake Elementary will develop strategies and programmatic structures at schools to empower parents to participate actively in their children’s education.

GOAL 4: By June 2008 Springhill Lake Elementary_will connect students and families with community resources that provide educational enrichment support.
