A Few Notes for the week of 10/9- Don’t Reading-This week’s story is called forget this weekend is a long one! There is no school Prudy’s Problem. Poor Prudy! Please sign the AR bookmark scarecrow, blueberry, butterflies, lawnmower, every night your child reads. We will have a drawing campground, sandbox, toothbrush on the first day of the week for those who get the Challenge Words (extra credit)- thumbtack, bookmark signed. All goals…percent (90% or higher), earthquake, scrapbook, courthouse, whirlpool points (listed on AR report), and Book Level (listed on AR report) should be met by the end of the quarter on (10/27).

Math-I know many students have not mastered subtraction with borrowing. This is a skill we Rocket Math- Keep studying those will continue to spend time on each weak. Our next Rocket Math facts! Students should complete the top chapter will focus on data, charts, and graphs. Students and bottom portion of the fact sheet each night. As of will be using the skills learned in the first chapter, today, 10/5, the following students have completed the adding and subtracting multi-digit numbers to solve subtraction portion of Rocket Math: Adrian, Keegan, problems. and Brenden. It looks like we will have more names to add to the list next week. Students should complete subtraction (level Z) by the end of the quarter on 10/27.
