Post School Outcomes Follow Up Interview Results: Student by student

A new report has been developed to amass the information about a student during their high school years as well as show the connection between their goals and aspirations as they leave district services, and their life, 12 months later.

The Case Study Report will be provided for the results of the follow up interviews collected in 2011. Individual student reports will be available for all students completing the Follow Up interview. Not all students will have data from all sources

This report summarizes information from the

 Exit interview, if available o Students plans and IEP goals for employment and education o Independent living intentions o Preparation of high school years for independent living activities o Agency involvement

 Special Education Child Count o Demographic information

 SPR Procedural Compliance results for Transition standards, if available

 Follow up interview o Engagement in employment of post secondary education o Independent Living situation o Agency involvement

A report prepared for the Oregon Board of Education (Preliminary Cohort Data Analysis Handout) and posted on the Community Network site: http://www.tcntransition.org/districtResources.php) has shown that in school experiences not measured in the Post School Outcomes data collection may have a significant impact on the outcome for an individual student. Districts are asked to provide the relevant information on their students to complete the picture, and hopefully use these reports to better understand the student results.
