Day Care Rules and Regulations

Day care Rules and Regulations:

 We accept all dogs of all shapes and sizes. All Dogs must be over 10 weeks of age prior to start date. All dogs must be in the same household for 2 weeks (14 days) prior to attending.

 All dogs must be spayed or neutered by 18 months of age. Young dogs that are in heat may not attend until their heat cycle is complete: 1 month. Males that are continuing to act extra aroused, may be excluded from daycare until they are neutered.

 All dogs must be up to date with current vaccines of DHPPC and Rabies. Bordetella is not always a part of your dog’s regular vaccine schedule. It does come highly recommended to have in daycare as canine cough is highly contagious. Your vet will have the vaccine available to you. Proof of vaccine schedule will be provided to K9 Play as proof of requirement. Titers will also be allowed.

 Dogs who have been ill or injured are not permitted into daycare until given clearances by their Veterinarian. Dogs recovering from communicable illnesses (within 30 days)must provide veterinary clearance to return to daycare. Owners certify by stating in their application that their dog is in good health.

 If your dog incurs veterinary bills during their stay at daycare, you, the legal owner of said dog, must pay those bills at time of pick up. K9 Play Doggy Daycare Hotel & Spa reserves the right to seek veterinary care for your dog if injured during its time at the facility. We will make every reasonable effort to contact you first.

 We reserve the right to refuse any dog at any time for any reason.

 All daycare dogs must be dropped off BEFORE 10 am without exception and picked up BEFORE 6pm or additional late fee of $10.00 per 15 minutes will be applied. Frequent late pick-ups will result in dog(s) removal from daycare.

 Dogs must come to daycare on their scheduled day(s). If you do not call and cancel your day, you will be charged for holding the spot. Failure to come on a regular basis will result in removal from daycare.

 Daycare passes have no cash value and are non-refundable. No exceptions.

Wavier of Liability

I, the undersigned, am satisfied that K9 Play Doggy Daycare Hotel & Spa in maintained for the health, comfort and protection of my animal(s). I am the owner/agent of the above named animal and will not hold K9 Play Doggy Daycare Hotel & Spa owner or staff responsible for any accident or injury or loss or death of my animal on or off the premises at unit 637 10496 98 Ave , Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta unless caused by gross negligence by the owner or staff of said company. I further understand that due to the way dogs interact with one another, minor cuts, scratches and other injuries can occur even though the dogs are supervised at all times. If I am unreachable in case of an emergency , I hereby authorize K9 Play Doggy Daycare Hotel & Spa, its agents and or representatives to seek medical veterinary care for my animal(s) at Fort Saskatchewan Veterinary Clinic located at 10408 100 Ave, Fort Saskatchewan, AB. I am aware this clinic does not offer Emergency Hours. I will abide to the vaccination protocol and am aware that communicable diseases can happen if my dog is not protected. I understand the all costs in connection with veterinary or medical treatment shall be my responsibility. I certify that my animal(s) are in good health and have not harmed or shown any sign of aggressive or threatening behaviours towards people and or animal(s). I agree to be financially responsible for undue personal or property damage caused by any act of my animal(s) while in care.

I certify that I have read, understood and agreed to all terms of this wavier and will abided to its rules and regulations. I confirm the truthfulness of the contents of the application form completed to the best of my knowledge by me. I am of the full age of 18 years of age.
