POCKETS: Quarter Top Pockets: There shall be two (2) front quarter top styled pockets. The opening shall be 6 ½” and slightly “scooped”. The swing type pocket bag shall be 9” deep measured from the bottom opening of the quarter top pocket to the lower inside corner of the pocket. The pocket shall angle forward 2 ½” at the top. The pocket facing attached to the side seam shall be 3 ½” wide at the top. There shall be a facing under the top of the pocket 2” wide. There shall be a straight bar-tack at the top and bottom opening of the pocket.

Rear Pockets: There shall be two (2) rear pockets with a straight top opening. The height along each side shall measure 11”. The top and bottom shall measure 7 ½” on size 34. There is no pocket bag. The pocket is formed from a piece of shell material sewn onto the back panel, making the seat a double ply of fabric, ending at the base of the pocket. The bottom of the pocket and inside edge shall all be double needle stitched. Each pocket shall close with one piece of Velcro, 1 ½” long and ½” wide. There shall be a visible “X” stitch inside a sewn box on the outside of the pocket. The hook side shall be on the trouser and the loop side shall be under the pocket opening. The pocket depth shall be 6” measured from the top opening of the pocket. There shall be a double needle stitch across the center of the patch so limit the pocket depth to 6”.

Side Cargo Pockets: There shall be a cargo pocket on both the left and right sides. These shall have a center, inverted pleat. This pleat shall be stitched closed 1 1/8” up from the bottom and 2” down from the top with a bar-tack and both the top and bottom openings. The pocket shall be 7 ¼” wide and 7” high. All sides

1 shall be double needle stitched. There shall be a bar-tack at the top corners of the pockets. There shall be a flap on each pocket. This shall measure 7 ¼” wide along the top, 6” wide along the bottom, 2 ¼” high in the center and 1 ½” high at the sides with mitered corners. There shall be two pieces of Velcro sewn to the flap with a visible “X” stitch inside a sewn box. The Velcro shall be 1 ½” long and ½” wide. There shall be corresponding pieces of Velcro sewn to the pocket. The loop side of the Velcro shall be under the flap and the hook side of the Velcro shall be on the pocket. There shall be an “X” stitch bartack sewn to both corners of the flaps. The overall height of the pocket WITH the flap shall measure 7 ½”.

Cell Phone Pocket: There shall be two cell phone pockets placed on the left and right front between the bottom of the quarter top pocket and the cargo pocket flap. The pockets shall measure 3” wide and 5 ½” high. There shall be bellows on both sides with an inverted pleat measuring approximately ¾”. The pockets shall be attached with a double needle around all sides. There shall be a bar-tack at the top of the pocket corners and the top of the bellows pleats. There shall also be a bar-tack at the bottom corners, placed on a 45 angle. There shall be a pocket flap measuring 3” wide at the top and 2” wide at the bottom. It shall measure 2 ½” high at the center and 1 ¾” high at the sides with mitered corners. It shall close with one piece of Velcro. The hook side Velcro shall be sewn under the flap and shall measure 1 ½” wide and ½” high. There shall be a visible “X” stitch sewn inside a sewn box. The loop side shall be sewn to the top of the pocket. This shall measure 1 ½” by 1 ½”. The overall height of the pockets WITH the flap shall measure 6 ¼”.

POCKETING: The front pocket bag shall be 50% polyester, 50% cotton, 260-weight drill and shall withstand all pilling for a minimum of 30 wash cycles. Color shall be off white.

WAISTBAND: Shall be a turnover jean style waistband made of shell material. There shall be elastic inserts on both sides measuring approximately 7” when relaxed. The maximum stretch on each side shall be approximately 3 ½” to 4”. There shall be a jean style metal button. The inside of the waistband shall be hemmed with no raw edges or stitching showing.

BELTLOOPS: There shall be five (5) belt loops. One belt loop shall be on each quarter panel, placed 4” from the center and made of shell material. There will be a small horizontal bar-tack in each upper and lower corner of the belt loop. They shall measure 1 ¾” wide and 2 ¼” high. There shall be one back center belt-loop measuring 1” wide and 2 ¼” high also with a bar-tack at each of the four corners. There will be double needle stitching along each side of all belt loops.

FRENCH FLY: There shall be a grown on French fly, made of shell material.

2 DOUBLE KNEE: There shall be two plies of fabric at the knees. This extra ply shall be sewn onto the outside and measure 10 ½” high, 9 ¾” wide at the bottom and 10 ¾” wide at the top on size 34, graded proportionally.

INSIDE KNEE POCKET: There shall be a 5 ¾” opening on the inside of each leg to insert a padding inside the double knee.

KEY RING: There shall be a small brass key ring attached to a loop of shell material set into the bottom of the front right belt loop. This “D” right shall be 1” wide.

ZIPPER: Shall be brass and of good commercial quality. Shall withstand all laundering and pressing for the life of the garment. Shall be self-locking style.

INSEAM: Shall be proportionally graded to average 37” open bottom.

SEAMS: Special attention shall be paid to the seam construction: Leg out seams: Shall be serge seamed and double needle topstitched. Leg inseams: Seat seam: Shall be double needle topstitched. Crotch seam: Shall be double needle topstitched.

THREAD: All thread shall be color fast, polyester core, two-ply. This shall identically match the fabric color.

FINISHING: This garment shall be finished in a first class workmanlike manner with all loose threads removed. The omission or apparent omission of any wording or specifications shall mean that only the highest quality industry standards shall be used on all fabric and component parts including labor. Where there may be a discrepancy between the standard sample and the written specification, the detail of the standard sample shall prevail.

LABELS: All labels will be permanent to withstand repeated cleanings for the life of the garment. The following labels shall be applied:

MAIN LABEL: This shall identify the manufacturer either by name & location, registered trademark or WPL or RN number as required by the Federal Trade Commission.

CONTENTS/CARE/SIZE LABEL: There shall be an additional label clearly showing the fabric contents, laundering instructions and garment size.
