The pie chart above describes the effects of water pollution to human life. . The pie chart shows four effects of water pollution to human life which are death, changes of lifestyle, diseases and others.
From the pie chart, half of the respondents (50%) agree that water pollution can cause diseases to human life. 29 % think that death of human life is because of water pollution followed by the changes of lifestyle which is 21 %. Unfortunately, there is no respondent comes out with their ideas on the effects of water pollution to human life.
In conclusion, the analysis is similar to Rendy and Bahera (2006) that stated, villagers that exposed to the polluted water has been suffered from water-borne diseases such as skin infection, teeth corrosion and defective vision. This finding is supported by Butt, Sharif and Bajwa (2005), reported that sewages from the industrial world such as Pakistan has disposed to the nearest river or lakes belief to be the factor that contributes to the various kinds of diseases.
From the analysis, people nowadays aware that by exposing to the contaminated water they will get highest probability to suffer from various kinds of diseases. The pie chart above shows the effects of water pollution to animals. . Overall, people agree that water pollution can lead to the death of animals..
From the pie chart, 33 % think that the death of the animals is because of the water pollution problem. Disruption of food chain of the animals come out with 29 % which is second highest while 23 % agree that water pollution also can affect the reproductive system of animals.
Production of low quality of milk and manure has the percentage of 10 % while production of low quality of meats has the lowest percentage which is 5 %.
From the analysis, approximately one fifth (23 %) agree to the study by the researchers
Reddy and Behera (2006) that stated, animals such as cows have become a burden for the owner since they have lost their reproductive capacity when they need to drink water and graze on contaminated grasses to survive. Besides that, people do not aware that by drinking polluted water can lead to low production of milk and manure of animals. This can be prove when only
10 % agree with this finding. In conclusion, water pollution can give bad effects to animals and 33 % believe that water pollution can lead to the death of animals.
