A dietitian is basically a medical professional who is responsible for provide help to the patients in proper intake of diets. The main aim is to make them healthy and free of ailments. Dieticians can work in a wide variety of positions depending on their specialization and has to maintain the coordination with other medical professionals so that the patients receive proper treatment and diet information.

 The duty of working in the hospitals, schools, other food service companies, etc.

 The Dieticians may also work independently for advising and educating various governmental and non-governmental organizations on proper nutritional and dietary standards.

 He or she should have the required knowledge of the proper health standards as mandated by various state governments and follow them in their practices.

Dietitian Education and Qualifications

 The person must possess a license to start working as a qualified dietitian.

 The person desiring to be a dietician should possess at least a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and complete the program as authorized.

 The person must have completed the internship for at least nine hundred hours before they can start working independently.

 He or she should have completed the internship to ensure proper guidance and learn proper standards and practices.

Dietitian Salary

The Salaries of the dietician depends upon the practice area, years of experience, level of education etc.

The salary of the professionals is generally $29,000 to $45,000 per year.
