September Back to School Club September 14, 2007 6:00-8:00pm Game Plan:  Kids arrive from 6:00-6:20  Gaga in the Garage and Ping Pong  Have a table of raffle tickets and list to sign in kids as they come and  Have new kids fill out contact cards

7:15/7:20  Organize kids  Do the raffle (3 winners, t-shirts as a prize)

Introduction: Welcome to WyldLife Club. On the count of three, everybody SCREAM!!!

In honor of school recently starting, we thought we’d run a WL club like your classes only WL style. So sit back, listen up, and get ready for a whole day of school in just one hour!!! Remember, turn off all cell phones and chew as much gum as you’d like 

1st Hour: Gym (Announced by Carly and demonstrated by all leaders, organized by all leaders) Group Game: Extreme Toilet Paper War (Song: Let’s Get Ready to Rumble)  Divide room in half with duct tape line, have kids on each side  On count of 3 toss toilet paper rolls into line and have kids throw at each other  For this game, turn off all lights and turn on strobe light  After game see who can get as much toilet paper in a pile as possible (leaders throw it out!) *Note, depending on how long game takes, we may also do hoola hoop pass…*

2nd Hour: Math Class (Announced by Jason, Dawson and Alex will help with shirts, ALL girls will pass out pens) Game: Signature Race (Song: School House Rock?)  Have three boys come up front: one each from 6th, 7th, and 8th grade  Have each boy put on a large blank white t-shirt  Meanwhile, pass out pens and markers to all students in audience  On the count of three, have the boys run into the audience to get as many signatures as possible in a minute and a half on their shirts.

3rd Hour: Science Class (Announced by Jason, Ed will give kids shirts) Game: T-shirt experiment (Song: Let’s Get it Started)  Need 4 kids: two girls, two boys, they nominate selves in beginning  Give each kid a WL t-shirt that has previously been dipped in water and frozen  When the music starts, the kids must get the t-shirt out of the ball and on their body  The first one to do this successfully wins (all kids get to keep the t- shirts)

4th Hour: Lunch (Ed will throw candy)  Be ready to throw a bag of candy at the kids and tell them to eat up

Program: Lunch time entertainment…Have someone come out in a referee shirt and give the run down on all announcements/happenings in WL right now:

Alex Boston will do announcements with TONS of energy and be loud Dawson will be sidekick in ref. shirt and have flyers ready for kids

Family Camp NEXT weekend Roll Out November 16 Cabin time: EVERYONE meet @ Garage September 28 Winter Weekend in February

5th Hour: Pop QUIZ! Pie Roulette Style…give categories and if a kid misses, he/she gets a pie in the face!

6th Hour: Drama (Announced by Carly, each student leader should go to a different group. Ed, Jason, and Carly will be judges) Game: Group Charades  Have kids get into 4 groups  Give them 2 minutes to figure out a scene from a popular movie  Each team performs in front of audience and audience guesses

If group charades bombs, we can do “Mitten Pictionary” with the same teams only the artists have to wear oven mitts.

6th Hour: History Club talk: Jason
