WORK EXPERIENCE:-
From March 2009 November 2010 associated with an exporter of coir door mats at Alleppey, Kerala. Looking after export marketing through internet and also some documentation works.
Shipping Industry:
Worked with M/s Schaefco International (International freight forwarders), Cochin as Branch Manager from January 2008 to February 2009.
July 2007 to December 2007 worked with M/s OSL Shipping Agencies (India) Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore as Marketing Manager.
April 2002 to June 2007 worked with M/s Kamal Shipping Services Private Ltd.,(Agents of CMA-CGM) Hyderabad: Started working as Executive Customer Services and Accounts. After completion of 1 year I have been promoted as Manager Accounts.
In April 2006 the Company got Liner Agency at Kochi and I have been transferred to Kochi Office as Branch Manager.
Export-Import Documentation: Booking of containers, Preparation of B/L, AWB, sending pre-alert/ dispatch report to port offices and agents, making all arrangements for filing of EGM & IGM sending CAN, issuance of D.O. etc.
Accounts: Looking after all the works related with accounts which includes maintaining and managing of all the expenses of Branch Offices and H.O. Preparation of Debit/Credit notes, keeping records of service tax, TDS, PF and also making the payments in time etc.
Marketing/Operation: Business Development (Liner and forwarding) through exporters, CHA’s and other forwarders. ICD/Porter Operation related works. Overall responsibility of the branch and handled entire works very sincerely and profitable of the organizations wherever I have worked.
Export House:
January 1996 to August 2001 as Chief Co-ordinator with M/s Devika International, NOIDA. The company is engaged in manufacturing of baby care products and exporting to American, European Countries. The company also launched their products in the domestic market under the brand name of “Infanta Baby”.
November 1993 to December 1995 as Secretary to the Managing Director and Director (Marketing) with M/s Little Highness Baby Products Pvt. Ltd., NOIDA. The company is engaged in manufacturing of baby care products and exporting to American, European countries.
Production: Arranging raw materials, packing materials, preparation of production schedule and giving instructions to supervisor for production and packing of goods.
Sales: (Domestic) : Overall responsibilities of sales and accounts :- Handled a team of 3 A.S.M’s & 15 A.S.O’s in the Northern India. Finalisation of distributors in various region, issuing confirmation letter scheme/debit/credit notes etc to them. Preparation of target, price list , working plan for sales staff and collection of their daily sales report regarding achievement of their sales calls. Despatch of goods, collection of payments, managing and maintaining of all records, day to day expenses of the company etc.
Exports: Preparation of application for advance licence, export documents, identifying new buyers, procurement of exports orders, sending samples to buyers, arranging meeting with them, sourcing of other products as per the requirement of buyers. Correspondence with buyers and all other works related with exports.
Liaison Works: Govt. Departments/Agencies like DGFT, JDGFT, GSP Office, Plexcouncil, Rubber Board, Airlines, Shipping Lines, Custom House Agents, Telephone, Electricity Offices, SGS Laboratory etc.
CONSUMER INDUSTRY.
From April 1992 to October 1993 as Sales Co-ordinator with M/s Dhillon Kool Drinks, New Delhi. This company is a franchise and largest bottlers of Pepsi Cola International in the Northern India.
From March 1989 to March 1992 as Sales Assistant with M/s Agpro Marketing, New Delhi. This organization were engaged in marketing of various products in the Northern India mainly in food products.
