1. If Paper is set on bypass tray by Quick Copy screen, the paper selection is not displayed correctly. [PEBJNG1300650305] 2. If the following Group destination is selected, C-E301 (detail codes:0xC08D) occurs and MFP hangs up. [PEBJTH1300656087] - Group destination name is registered by over 15 two-byte characters. 3. "Please wait" keeps displaying when close key is pushed after the specific Address in Group List is selected. [PEBJKS1300667607] 4. The color document saved in User Box by public user is printed by the registered User, all pages may be printed as black. [PEBJTS1300656776] 5. C-E301/C-E304/C-4091 occurs and MFP hungs up when MFP is rebooted automatically. [PEBJTS1300656278] 6. Conditions for USB memory which can be used for updating the firmware are as follows: - Securities such as data encryption and password lock shall be released, or the security function shall be turned Off. - Memory with 1 GB to 2 GB are recommended (One with 4 GB or more may not operate) - Compatible with USB Version 1.0/2.0 interface - Formatted with FAT32 type - A USB flash memory that appears as multiple drives on a computer cannot be used.

4.2. How to upgrade/downgrade firmware [Definition of terms] Function Version 2: Firmware Version ver.Gxx-42 and earlier. Function Version 2 MR(Maintenance Release) Version: Firmware for Function Version 3 Version ver.Gxx-63 and later. (There are not enhancement functions of Function Version 3.) "Function Version2" has equal functions. Function Version 3: Firmware for Function Version 3 Version ver.Gxx-63 and later.

[Caution] 1. Please be sure to install Gxx-A9 or later to 1-beam P/H Model. If Gxx-63 or earlier is installed to 1-beam P/H Model, C-5603 occurs.

2. Please be sure to close the front door within 3 seconds after the main power switch is ON if using Gxx-A9 or later. If the front door is not closed within 3 seconds, C-D2A1 may occur. (Because 2-beams or 1-beam Models can not be detected) If C-D2A1 is reset, MFP is started up normally. (MFP can be started up normally by "Internal Error Auto cancel")

3. Gxx-A9 or later can not be installed to MFP in which is installed Gxx-63 or earlier by IISW. If Gxx-A9 or later is installed by USB memory once, Gxx-A9 or later can be installed by IISW.

4.2.1-2. Firmware upgrading procedure from Function Version 2 to Function Version 2 MR(Maintenance Release) Version. 1. Install the Firmware for Function Version 3 to MFP. 2. Turn OFF/ON the main switch.

4.2.1-3 Firmware upgrading procedure from Function Version 2 MR(Maintenance Release) Version to Function Version 3. 1. If the Voice Data/Movie Data for Function Version 2 has been already installed, delete it in Service Mode. 2. Change Software Switch Setting to the following in Service Mode. Switch No.: 25 HEX Assignment: 20 3. Turn OFF/ON the main switch. 4. Install Voice Data/Movie Data for Function Version 3 to MFP. Please upgrade the printer drivers for Function Version 3 if MFP is upgraded to Function Version 3. Because, the Device Information can not be obtained and other problems may occur. And please also upgrade the Applications.

4.2.2. Downgrade 4.2.2-1. Firmware downgrading procedure from Function Version 3 to Function Version 2. Please select "OFF" on the User Authentication setting if "Main + Enhanced Server" function is used. (User Authentication data is cleared.) 1. If the Voice Data/Movie Data for Function Version 3 has been already installed, delete it in Service Mode. 2. Install the Firmware for Function Version 2 to MFP. 3. Turn OFF/ON the main switch. Call the Service Mode to the screen. 4. Touch [System 2] -> [Driver Install]. 5. Touch [SET] and press "Start" button to start installing the data. 6. Check that data is normally installed from the message that appears on the control panel. 7. Turn OFF/ON the main switch. 8.
