Person listed above My/Our representation are as follows 1 2 3 4 Tick if you agree Core Strategy and Policies Focused Review Ipswich needs houses but it also needs jobs growth and the two need to be in balance A firm jobs growth target is needed over 2011-2031 rather than between 1 and 12500 Ipswich population, household and jobs growth forecasts need updating The target for brownfield site development needs reinstating Development of brownfield sites should be given priority over the Northern Fringe The whole of the Northern Fringe should not be allocated at this time since it will have a negative impact on regenerating brownfield sites including the waterfront Objectives should be included to improve the lives of existing residents through raising educational standards, getting people into work, revitalising the town centre etc

Ipswich Garden Suburb SPD Jobs growth sites are not within easy reach by public transport or sustainable means and this will result in increased car usage Commuting by car will make traffic congestion, rat-runs and air quality much worse. I have major concerns over the proposed traffic scheme including replacing Valley Road roundabouts with traffic lights and including a Pelican crossing on Valley Road A full traffic impact assessment needs to be made of the Travel Ipswich UTMC system before including it in the NF proposals Developments need to be made more resilient to flooding. The Sustainable Urban Drainage scheme needs careful planning, assessment and sensitivity analysis Residents deserve to know what route the sewage pipeline will take through the town. This needs to be included in the infrastructure information. I would like to see larger rear gardens than currently specified
