The Role

The role is to provide high quality graphics assistance including production of and advising on CORE1, PLUS2 and specialized graphics materials to support consulting and non-consulting staff across Bain offices. This support can be provided locally or remotely, according to Bain’s capacity management strategy. In addition, the Specialist is expected to contribute to core workflow coordination functions, by performing quality checks as well as helpdesk support to both less experienced team members and to the clients.

The role is varied, since in addition to CORE and PLUS graphics production, expertise and support should include at least one field of specialization:  Training  PLUS graphics  Specialized graphics

The role is also deadline-driven, and demands exceptional time management and attention to detail. This position requires high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office within a PC Windows operating environment.

The Graphics Specialist needs excellent interpersonal skills. The ability to forge strong and successful working relationships without face to face interaction is essential.

Customer satisfaction and Productivity are measured and used both for professional development and performance evaluation purposes. Sense of service and ability to create additional demand through quality of delivery is paramount for this position.

Graphics Specialists are expected to be native or fluent French & English speakers (C2 level). In addition, the same level is required in any other language of operation.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

 Production of CORE and PLUS graphics using Bain software and tools as well as performing tasks within the area(s) of specialisation  Advising on layout, design, and technical solutions available to maximize visual impact of CORE and PLUS graphics

1 CORE Graphics: Standard slide format for general day-to-day presentations (case team work, client proposals, and internal Bain presentations), delivery of message-based content with highly standardized look and feel (variable information density, rich with content for leave behind purposes). 2 PLUS Graphics: Tailored slide design, image/media-rich, high-stakes Bain/Client situations (advised and designed exclusively by trained Graphics experts for senior client audiences, workshops and major events. PLUS is focused on presenter-led storytelling, supported by bold, emotive, compelling visuals rather than content heavy slides.  Communication with consultants and staff to produce work that is timely, accurate, and meets Bain corporate standards  Accountability for personal output quality, on time delivery, customer communications  Quality checks of other Team Members output  Coordination, prioritization and facilitation of workflow to other Team Members for production of CORE and PLUS graphics  Identifying opportunities and driving process improvements to develop the performance within all service lines, especially in the area of specialisation  Expert level Graphics helpdesk support for Power Point, Mekko and Toolbox, troubleshooting to younger-tenured Team Members and to clients  Buddying less experienced team members  Adherence to Bain Operating Principles - Results, Teamwork, Professionalism  Specializing in (initially at least 1, but more and more over time) area(s) among:

o Training, including but not limited to certification by Certified Trainer Graphics programme, delivering preACT and preNCT trainings, delivering trainings for the new hires in the Graphics team o PLUS graphics, including but not limited to PLUS design, advising and supporting key clients with high quality PLUS presentations o Specialized Graphics, including but not limited to: . Proposals (Word documents with embedded graphics material) . Print and digital design . E-learning . Online . Surveys . Video . Photography . Apps design

 Developing other team members within the area of specialisation

Qualifications

Essential

 High level proficiency in Microsoft Office – PowerPoint, Excel, Word  Expertise in tools and software relevant to the field of specialisation  Minimum of 4 years experience working within a demanding corporate environment, preferably at a professional services or blue chip company  Native or fluent English (at least C2 level)

Desired

 Fluency at C2 level in any other language of operation  Educated to degree-level
