LEVEL 1 ROADS – ‘TRAIN THE TRAINERS’ WORKSHOP - FOR TRAINERS OF THE STMS COURSE

COURSE CONTENT: This three-day workshop is designed to refresh participants on the content of the Traffic Controller (TC) and Site Traffic Management Supervisors (STMS) Courses, but the emphasis is on the development of training skills. These are taught, coached and tested during the course. Prior to attending the course participants must be familiar with Microsoft Power-point and CoPTTM.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Persons chosen by their organisation to be their organisation’s trainer. Persons wanting to become a trainer on a commercial basis As some time is spent covering training skills it is important that candidates have a sound knowledge of temporary traffic management. Candidates must be prepared to work long hours on the course. To meet the Pre-Entry Requirement they must have held, one of the following roles for at least 12 months: a supervisor (STMS)/traffic management planner/approver/auditor type role, and have successfully completed a Level 1 STMS course.

QUALIFICATION: Those who successfully complete the course will be qualified as NZTA Level 1 Trainers for: TC and STMS Courses. They will also re-qualify as a Site Traffic Management Supervisor.

WORKSHOP COST: The cost is $1250 + GST for the three day workshop. This covers all notes, registration, instructions, USB stick with notes, morning and afternoon teas, lunches and dinners on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. ......
