SCHEDULE FOR THIS EVENT 8:00 – 8:45 a.m. Shooter Check-in and Equipment Check-in 8:45 a.m. Safety Meeting and Announcements 9:00 a.m. Air Pistol/Rifle Contest Starts
• Registrations and payment MUST be received to the State 4-H Office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, February 8th! Registrations received after this time will not be accepted!
• Registration Fee: $16.00. Make checks payable to “4-H Conferences”. • NOTE: You must allow at least an extra 3 days for campus mail to make delivery. If you plan on sending registrations via postal mail, please also fax registrations to the State 4-H Office by the deadline noted above. • 4-H Members MUST have been 12 years of age BEFORE Jan. 1, 2016 to participate in any air pistol training or contests and 9 years of age BEFORE Jan. 1, 2016 to participate in any air rifle training or contests NEW FOR 2016: The three parts of the Air Pistol/Rifle contests will be weighted so as to make a perfect score in one part of the contest equal to perfect scores of the other contest parts. NEW FOR 2016: Pistol Single Shot Rapid Fire event is a new contest that replaces the Time Fire/Rapid Fire contest. NOTICE The NEW Form #1 is a Medical Information and Release Form and Code of Conduct for each individual 4-H participant. Form #1 and contest registration forms should be in possession of respective coaches and leaders. Forms do not need to be submitted at registration time; however, in case of an emergency or accident, the coach/leader should have them easily accessible. The Form #1: Youth Participation Form can be downloaded from the Oklahoma 4-H web page at: http://4h.okstate.edu under “Events & Activities” then “Forms and Applications”.
The State 4-H Office will secure insurance for this event. SAFETY RULES Eye protection is required All firearms will remain open until the shooter is instructed to shoot. Do not load the firearm until instructed by Range Officer All certified instructors should assume the role of Safety Officers. Obey the instructions of the Range and Safety Officers.

Shoot Fees: $16.00 made out to 4-H Conferences • Teams will consist of 3 - 4 members. Age of oldest team member will be used to determine age division in which the team shoots. • Team members will compete for individual awards in their age division • Age Divisions: Senior 14+ Awards: Awards will be presented at the conclusion of the contest Team Award (3 or 4 members, with top 3 scores used to rank teams) Award for each shooter on the 1st place Team Individual Awards Awards to the top 3 individuals
