Partner/Group Work & FI Practices

Day 1—131.10 Observe partner turning head while prone

Day 2—2.1.10 Observe partner pressing, lifting and turning head Group Discussion – What was your experience of this lesson? Observe partner in supine after long prone lesson – Give short ATM to help release back.

Day 3—2.2.10 Hold partners leg and turn knee/heel/hip in and out. Observe & touch partner in standing, turning & raising arms above head Observe & touch as above after ATM Observe partner raising arms in standing & sitting Partner sitting, place hands on iliac crest (ridge of pelvis) – sitter’s movement moves partner touching. Day 4—2.3.10 Observe partner standing: Developing a working hypothesis on how they would lie down on each side.

Day 5—2.4.10 Observe partner w/hand/arm as for bridge & touch processes Exploring earlier demonstration w/ partner

Day 6—2.5.10 Observe partner supine w/legs standing. How does this relate to entire self? One partner sitting/kneeling, the other acting as “wall”

Day 7—2.6.10 Groups of 3-4 – List what is in an ATM lesson, what are ATM tools? What makes an ATM? Groups of 6 & compare lists What comes from participant & what comes from lesson? Large Group – List Principles

Day 8—2.9.10 Form groups around principles of ATM/FI Action – Supine, rolling head. Series of questions for receiver & giver Feedback to partners Group feedback & discussion re: trust, honesty, learning

Day 9—2/10/10 Group of 3 – one side lying, one rolling partner at arm, hip/leg, one observing Continue am FI practice w/ focus on practitioner’s ease/movement of pelvis

Day10—2/11/10 Partners – side-lying, raise arm, move arm, where can partner “give” their arm?

Day 11—2.12.10 Partners – side-lying, roll pelvis forward and back. Same w/ ribs.
