Just a Reminder: Spring Break from 3/25 Until 3/29 (No Classes)

March NEWS Letter

Marching into March madness! It’s still pretty cold, no snow and the flower buds are confused. This madness is not going to stop our pre-K class from celebrating this month. We are looking forward to Dr. Seuss birthday, we have decided to dedicate two weeks of some awesome reads and themes to make the celebration more fun. The children were so excited when it was time to start the calendar all over again, we talked about some important dates this month likes birthdays and off course every child’s favorite St. Patrick’s Day (not as favorite as December). The children think the naughty leprechaun is going to come in to their class to make a lot of mischief… I guess we will have to wait and watch. We are also marching along with our letters this month : V, W, X.

This month children will be making valcanos with paper mache’, they will also use vinegar and baking soda to make them erupt. For that week we will make vanilla pudding for snack. Since we are celebrating Dr.Seuss birthday, it is very fitting that we read Wacky Wednesday by Dr.Seuss . So on 3/13, children can come dressed as wacky as they want and we will make waffles on wacky Wednesday. Last year, we enjoyed some really wacky hair and wacky fashion. We can’t wait to see how wacky this year’s batch is going to get!

We are continuingly working with our journals and Math skills. Free Art is very much appreciated so will be exploring different artist and their methods to prepare for our Art show next month. More details by April.
