Sl EMD in Contract Class Of Name of the work No Rs. Period Contract 1 Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 11kV HT Metering Class I cubicle(without LBS) and its associated 7,600/- 30 days civil & other works at DG Plant, Yelahanka.

1. Blank tender forms shall be had from the Office of the SE(E)/GSW, on payment (Non- refundable) of Rs:106.00 (Rupees One hundred six only) and Rs:100.00 Extra (if required by Post) inclusive of all taxes in the form of DD/Pay Order drawn in favour of Karnataka Power Corporation Limited payable at Bangalore.

2. The application for blank tender document should accompany the following documents:

a) Copy of PAN Card

b) Copy of valid Electrical License (Class-1) issued by the Electrical Inspectorate.

c) Copy of the work done certificate of similar nature of works(HT Works) from KPCL/KPTCL/ESCOMS.

d) Service tax registration certificate.

4. The tenders will be opened on 22-01-2016 @ 3.30 pm or any other notified day in the presence of available tenderers or their authorised representatives. Tenders received after closing time and tenders sent by post will not be accepted.

5. The successful bidder shall have independent PF code and he shall deposit the statutory Provident Fund amount to the independent PF account before claiming the bill.

6. The rates quoted by the bidder shall be firm and shall be inclusive of all the taxes, levies, duties of GOK /GOI.

7. The completed tender documents should be filled up in all respects and should be accompanied by the EMD either by Pay order / DD / PO’s having validity of minimum of 3 months from the date of submission of the tender. EMD will not carry any interest.

8. Tenders without EMD or EMD not drawn in favour of Karnataka Power Corporation Limited or having any other default will be rejected.

9. The contractor shall inspect the site before quoting their rates.

10. Right to reject any or all the tenders or accept any tender in part or full without assigning any reason is reserved by the Karnataka Power Corporation Limited.

11. The tenderers shall quote their rate/amount, both in figure and in words for each item in Schedule-B.

12. KPCL reserves the right to verify any information/documents furnished by tenderer and in case of false information, the EMD will be forfeited.

13. The Bid documents will not be issued to such of the agencies/contractors whose contracts have been terminated /foreclosed on account of their default in KPCL and also elsewhere in the past three years. The agencies/Contractors shall give declaration that none of his contracts are terminated/foreclosed in KPCL / elsewhere.

14. The successful bidder shall take necessary insurance cover at it’s own cost under the workmen compensation Act.

15. The electrical license of the contractor shall be valid during the contract period.

16. Any other details/information may be had from the undersigned during the office hours.
