Recreation in Watertown (30 Second TV Commercial) For the Watertown Chamber of Commerce

You have been hired by the City of Watertown’s Chamber of Commerce to create a 30 second TV spot advertising what the city of Watertown has to offer in ways of recreation. Use the already recorded rough video to select what you think are the best recreational selling points that the city has to offer. Submit your final commercial to Mrs. Wegner the boss of your company for final approval.

Requirements: 1. Video editing software: Windows Movie Maker. 2. Use the video located on the Thaw Space (T). 3. All video is rough and you will need to select only short quality snippets (clips). 4. Add transition effects between the clips to make your commercial flow and to show professionalism. 5. Write a script to add voice-over to the commercial. Only write enough to last for the 30 second commercial. It would be better to have more than not enough. a. Search the Watertown Park and Recreation website, the Watertown Chamber of Commerce site and any other sites that would inform you about Watertown’s recreation possibilities. 6. Create a new folder with your first and last name on the Thaw Space (T). 7. Save as your first and last name_mm. ex: LoriWegner_mm In the Thaw Space (T) NOT TO THE STUDENT SERVER!! 8. YOU MUST convert the movie project into it’s final movie version to get a grade. Step 3-Finish Movie, to my computer is the correct choice to make. If you do not render the video into a movie, your voice recordings will be lost and you will get no points for your work. 9. Add your name, hour and the computer the video is saved on to the grading rubric and put it in the basket.

Video: The video is saved on the thaw space (T) in the wttn rec folder. It should already be imported into your collections list with all the other video available for other projects. All the clips should be labeled wttn rec 1, wttn rec 2 etc……

Still Images: You may use still images in the video as well. These could be found in Google-Images, Watertown Chamber of Commerce site, Watertown Parks & Recreation Department site, or Watertown Historical Society site. Next Page… Page 1 of 2 1/9/2018 Video Editing 1
