UNIT 2: Intro to Puritans Early Explorers and Colonists (Narrative Accounts) Christopher Columbus “Journal of the First American Voyage” o Quiz John Smith “The General History of Virginia” o Paraphrase William Bradford and the Puritans “Of Plymouth Plantation” o Author background notes/ Puritan notes o Reading Preparation (notes and outline over selection) Probably do either Smith or Bradford for general (both for CP—one independent) DO a quiz over material
