Nov 22: Presentations in pairs  Present key information and ideas from your article based on your notes. ( 2 minutes )  Your partner listens and makes notes  S/he gives feedback, asks for further information and explanation ( e.g.: of a phrase used ), comments on an interesting aspect, says where and why s/he (dis)agrees. ( 1 minute )  You will be assessed for language1), content and interaction.

Nov 22: In-lesson work a) What are you going to do in this double lesson?  Write your plans down in note form on a file card. Hand it in. b) Lesson work ( see handout ‘PREPARING FOR CCYP – Stage C’ )  Work with your material: make clear in-lesson notes  No abstract  List information and ideas ( / phrases / websites … ) in order of relevance ( / mark / highlight ) c) Hand your notes in at the end of the lesson ( / send / transfer to USB stick )

Preview Nov 23 + 24: ‘Committee Work Simulation’ chaired by fellow students.  You will be delegates in a committee. You are expected to contribute and participate where possible.  This serves as practice for the chairs. Give them feedback at the end!  I will observe committee work and form an impression of individual attitudes and contributions.
