MEETING DATE AND TIME: Thursday, March 15, 2007 at 1:30 p.m.

MEMBERS ABSENT None

CALL TO ORDER Mr. Yocum called the meeting to order at 2:30 p.m.

REVIEW OF MINUTES The Board reviewed the minutes from the February 15, 2007 meeting, Mr. Yocum made a motion to approve the minutes as presented, seconded by Mr. Carey. The motion was unanimously carried.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS Review of Tabled Applications A motion was made by Mr. Yocum to approve the following applications contingent upon receipt of a detailed transcript: Alisa Cafini Board of Massage and Bodywork Minutes – March 15, 2007 Page 2

Elizabeth Field Carl Kuehn Jennifer Kuehn Amy Pzywara Stephanie Ryan Akai Worthington Theresa Porta. The motion was seconded by Ms. Verdery and carried unanimously with Ms. Uniatowski recusing herself from the vote.

A motion was made by Mr. Carey to approve the following applications: Chae Mae Soon (Temp.) Imelda Watson. The motion was seconded by Ms. Langston and carried unanimously.

Updated Status of Audits

Ms. Bailey reviewed the sheet of audit status with the Board. Licensees who have not replied to the audit letter were sent Show Cause letters for a hearing at the April 19, 2007 board meeting. The licensees who have replied but not yet completed their audit will be sent grace letters and scheduling them for Show Cause hearing at the May 17, 2007 meeting.

NEW BUSINESS Annual Investigative Report/Strategic Planning James Collins, Division Director conducted a strategic planning briefing and encouraged the Board to incorporate strategic planning at their meetings.

Sam Nickerson, Investigative Administrator conducted annual investigative report briefing. In 2006, the Board of Massage and Bodywork did not have any complaints.

Discussion of Transcripts A motion was made by Ms. Stehle to amend the agenda to add Discussion of Transcripts, the motion was seconded by Ms. Langston and carried unanimously .When reviewing the tabled applications; a question was raised concerning what is listed in transcripts. The Board remembers a letter being sent to the schools concerning Rule 2.2 specifying what they want to see in the transcripts. Ms. Bailey located the letter for the Board to review. Ms. Verdery made a motion to have the Board Admin to resend the letter to the schools; the motion was seconded by Ms. Stehle and carried unanimously.

Discussion of Audit Process This item was also discussed in the Updated Status of Audits.

Review of Massage Technician Applications A motion was made by Mr. Yocum to add Janet Harden and Michelle Schnupp to the agenda. The motion was seconded by Ms. Langston and carried unanimously.

The motion was seconded by Ms. Stehle and carried unanimously with Ms. Uniatowski and Mr. Carey recusing from the vote.

Review of Massage Therapist Applications Mr. Carey made a motion to approve the following applications with the contingencies as shown: Margo Bluhm Thomas Horvath Jessica Pigeon – CPR Card

The motion was seconded by Ms. Stehle and carried unanimously.

The motion was seconded by Ms. Uniatowski and carried unanimously.

OTHER BUSINESS BEFORE THE BOARD (for discussion only)

Mr. Yocum would like to discuss to 100% and 25% category for Continuing Education at the workshop and a reminder to all that their will be a workshop starting at 11:00am April 19, 2007.

Mr. Spirizzi would like to see Strategic Planning on the next agenda and the board is prepared to discuss.

The next meeting will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. in Conference Room A, second floor of the Cannon Building, 861 Silver Lake Boulevard, Dover, Delaware.

ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business, Mr. Carey made a motion, seconded by Ms. Verdery to adjourn the meeting at 2:35 pm. The motion was unanimously carried.
