I GENERAL FUNCTIONS

I.1 Call to Order Meeting was called to order at 2:18 p.m.

 SPSA Updates for Approval Dr. Karwan reviewed and explain school goals and she also reviewed AVID expansion goals.

 FAFSA Expenditures- Dr. Karwan explained FAFSA Expenditures. III. INFORMATION SESSION

 GATE update-Mrs. SantaCruz mentioned that we are testing two students on March 23.

 Math Intervention-We will focus on Daily First in Math Intervention during the regular day next year and are looking at building a schedule with Math Intervention daily.  STEM Elementary (garden, science resources, 2016-2017). M & O is helping us start the garden. We will buy seeds and the students will paint the garden boxes. We will have more hands on Writing/Science/Literacy/Math during the regular day.  PTO Updates-Mrs. Davis was out, but Dr. Karwan explains that students are practicing every Wednesday for our first Talent Show on April 27.  AVID Summer Institute 2016-We have registered all our teachers to the AVID Summer Institute 2016.
