Servings- 2 to 3 Ingredients- Whole Grain Rice- 1 cup Campbell’s Low Sodium Soup- Cream of Mushroom- 1 can Water- ¾ of the soup can Frozen Corn- 1 cup Hormel- 25% less Sodium Spam- ½ can
Recipe- Cook the Rice first, and then dice the ½ can of spam. Turn heat to medium, dump the can of soup into the pot, then add water to the mix. Keep stirring. Once it is mixed into a pasty and saucy consistency. You can turn the heat up a little. Add the spam, let it cook for about 3 minutes. Keep Stirring. Then add the frozen corn with it for another minute or so. So the corn can defrost. Now it is ready to serve. Put some rice on a plate; pour the concussion right on top. And it is ready to eat.
**Side note: You could add peas to the mix, or substitute the Spam with diced chicken. But make sure it is fully cooked before serving. That way you could also decrease the sodium.
