Dear Township Officials of Illinois Member:

On Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at the Awards Breakfast which will be held during the Township Officials of Illinois Annual Educational Conference, the Assessors’ Division will present the Assessors’ Division Award for Excellence in Public Service. The Assessors’ Award for Excellence in Public Service will be presented to a Township Assessor in good standing with the Division who has demonstrated strong support of Township Government and who has been actively involved in service to the community, charitable organizations, religious groups, chambers of commerce and/or other civic and service organizations.

This award honors the outstanding and valuable contributions made to Township Government by an elected (or appointed) Assessor. The award recipient will be selected from nominations received from Township Officials of Illinois members. We need your help in identifying potential recipients. Within our organization there are undoubtedly Assessors who, in addition to holding township positions, are outstanding community leaders.

Nominees are expected to attend the breakfast awards presentation at the Annual Educational Conference on Tuesday, November 10, 2015. Selection Criteria

The Assessors’ Division Award for Excellence in Public Service will be presented to a Assessor who has demonstrated strong support for, and dedication to, Township Government, devoted time and energy to the community he/she serves in a meaningful way and has generously assisted other Assessors or elected officials in attaining their full potential. Any nominee must be a member Assessor in good standing with the Assessors’ Division of the Township Officials of Illinois.
