PLEASE MAKE CHECK TO: HENDERSON COUNTY FAIR Application can be turned in at the Henderson County Extension Office. Must be in the office by 4:00 p.m. July 9th. MISS TEEN HENDERSON COUNTY RULES AND REGULATIONS The contestant must be single, never married, never had a marriage annulled and never had any children.

A contestant must have reached her 13th birthday by October 31 and cannot have reached her 16th birthday by October 31st of the year that the pageant is held.

Local contest must be held. A contestant must be a winner or runner-up in the local contest. The Runner-up will be accepted should the winner become ineligible or unable to attend. A contestant can only represent one fair and must represent the first fair that she wins first place in during that calendar year. Fairs are urged not to accept girls who have won at a member show during that calendar year.

Contestants will have a 2-minute interview with judges.

The dress code for the interview portion will be: black capris, black ankle length pants, black skirt or gauchos (NO SHORTS) and a solid color shirt with a collar (polo or blouse).

Contestants will wear and be judged in evening gowns.

Contestant is responsible for clothing and personal items – fair will not be held responsible.

Contestant may have one adult to help prepare for pageant.

The winner will be expected to attend the Kentucky Association of Fairs and Horse Show in October for statewide competition.

Winner will receive: crown, sash, and $180.00 for expense in Louisville.

First runner-up and second place will receive a trophy.

The winner will be invited to participate in the Henderson Christmas Parade. The Fair Board is not responsible for arranging a car for the parade. It is your responsibility to arrange the car.
