Wanted. The annual Ride & Stride sponsored event by Wilts Historic Churches will be coming up in September. We need people to take part to raise funds for our church and for WHC (it’s split 50/50) by visiting as many churches as possible (cycling or walking). We also need someone to organise receptionists to be in the Narthex to greet and sign in visiting participants – this has been done by Pat Frost in the past. The organiser’s pack is in the Narthex – do make yourself known if you take it up.

Every Thursday morning Mums come with their babies and toddlers during term time at 9.30am till 11am for playtime and social chat over tea & biscuits. Contact Caroline by email on [email protected] or on tel. 07811 295319.

World issues. Please pray for all those affected by the disastrous fire in the Grenfell block of flats in London. Remember, too, the conflicts in the Middle East, and especially those at home who have suffered as a result of the terrorist activities. Pray that the educational TV channel “SAT-7 ACADEMY “ soon to be launched in September will be successful (see SAT-7 leaflets in church). “Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you” – 2 Thessalonians 3.16.

Schools: Generous God, source of all knowledge and wisdom, thank you for the precious gift and opportunity of learning, and for schools and colleges across our Diocese. In July we specially think of all teachers and support staff.
