FLAME University has been established as a state private university and is recognized by the University Grants Commission. It consists of six schools: FLAME School of Liberal Education, FLAME School of Business, FLAME School of Communication, FLAME School of Fine & Performing Arts, FLAME School of Entrepreneurship and FLAME School of Investing.

FLAME University offers three-year B.A., B.Sc. and BBA undergraduate programs. FLAME's undergraduate academic programs are delivered on a Semester system, which allows for concentrated work to be achieved across a 18 week time frame (some semesters are further divided into two terms of 9 weeks each). All students have the option to enroll for The FLAME Scholars Program which will build on the strengths of the undergraduate program and shall be a seamless extension of the same. The FLAME Scholars Program is a one-year post-graduate diploma program that empowers the student with knowledge and skills that will help them perform efficiently in their chosen career.

FLAME University's undergraduate programs comprise of Foundation Courses, Specialization Courses, Experiential Learning Courses and Open Elective Courses.

Students are expected to identify their areas of specialization at the end of the third term in their first year.

Design, Dance, Music and Theatre are offered as minors only.

Selection Process

FLAME University has an online application process. You are required to provide information such as entrance tests scores, personal contact details, educational qualification, work experience (if applicable), achievements/ extracurricular activities and statement of purpose.

An admission test is a mandatory qualifying criterion for admission to FLAME University. They have their own admission test called the FLAME Entrance Aptitude Test (FEAT) for Indian applicants. They also accept SAT scores for admission. In the application form candidate needs to indicate whether he wishes to appear for FEAT.

If candidate does not wish to appear for FEAT, one needs to provide your SAT scores. FLAME University's DI Code for SAT applicants is 6784. All applicants applying with the SAT code need to send their official transcripts.

One also needs to provide centre preference for FEAT (if applicable) and Group Discussion (GD) / Personal Interview (PI). FEAT and GD/PI are held on the same day.
