Recruitment Counselor - Positions Available: 42

2017 - 2018 Recruitment Counselor Position

The Recruitment Counselor will actively participate in a year-long training program focused on counseling and communication skills, recruitment rules, NPC policies and individual chapter information. Counselors will be responsible for the development and execution of all recruitment activities for the Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 academic year.

Recruitment Counselor - Positions Available: 42

● Engage in retreats as well as all training sessions ● Attend and participate in all Panhellenic Council-sponsored information sessions/events as needed ● Will adhere to all disassociation conditions that will be discussed during the interview ● Work cooperatively with a partner to lead a group of potential new members through the formal recruitment process ● Provide individualized counseling to potential new members as needed ● Assist in the evaluation process at the conclusion of recruitment

Qualifications:

● Prior experience in leading, counseling, or instructing others ● Takes direction and works as part of a team ● Ability to relate to others ● Attentive to detail ● Display Panhellenic spirit ● Must maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA at all times ● Must be an undergraduate member in good standing of her chapter

● Must have gone through one formal recruitment period with her chapter

Application intake will begin Wednesday, August 23rd and last until Wednesday, September 20th. Selected applicants will be contacted to set up an interview date and time on a rolling basis.

Interviews will begin September 24th. If your chapter is doing Fall Informal Recruitment but you are interested in becoming a Recruitment Counselor, schedule your interview ahead of time. Please note: A Recruitment Counselor must be able to attend the following training dates:

● Afternoon Retreat: Sunday, October 8th from 12:30-5 pm (College Ave) ● Monday, October 16th at 9 pm (Livingston) ● Monday, October 23rd at 9 pm (Douglass) ● Monday, November 6th at 9 pm (College Ave) ● Monday, November 13th at 9pm (Livingston) ● Monday, November 20th at 9 pm (Livingston) ● Monday, December 4th at 9 pm (College Ave) ● Afternoon Retreat: Sunday, January 21st from 1-5pm (College Ave) ● Orientation Sessions January 22nd and 23rd from 7-11pm (College Ave) 2017 - 2018 Recruitment Counselor Position
