Meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m. by Mayor Peter Koch 01 – 2012 JOHNSON: That the agenda for the Regular Council meeting of January 7 2012 be approved as presented.

02 – 2012 JOHNSON: That the Minutes for the Regular Council meeting of December 3 2012 be approved as presented.

CARRIED OLD BUSINESS 04 – 2012 JOHNSON: That Council sign the documentation provided by the Royal Bank to implement the online banking as well as a minimal debit purchase card.

OLD BUS CONT 05 – 2012 JOHNSON: That Council requests that the Administrator send a letter to the Gas Tax program contact and outline the changes in administration and request proof of receivership of the registered letter that was sent to the Village outlining the status update of non compliance.

06 – 2012 JOHNSON: That Council requests that the administrator contact the Heron Insurance for an update on coverage.

CARRIED

07 – 2012 JOHNSON: That Council requests that the Administrator acquire quotes for a Village Planner to begin the Zoning and Planning Bylaws.

CARRIED

08 – 2012 JOHNSON: That the administrator continue to correspond with the auditor regarding the audit of 2008 and report at the next regular council meeting.

CARRIED

09 – 2012 JOHNSON: That Council carries forward the discussion of the upgrade and expansion of the Village Lagoon to the next regular council meeting.

CARRIED

10 – 2012 JOHNSON: That Council request that the Administrator continue to correspond with Municipal Affairs regarding road development with a structure located on it. CARRIED

11 – 2012 JOHNSON: That Councillor Johnson will investigate further the request of highway trailer being stored on public land.

CARRIED

12 – 2012 JOHNSON: That Council carries forward the discussion of updating the Emergency Response Plan to the next regular council meeting.

CARRIED

13 – 2012 JOHNSON: That Council recommends that the advanced polls be on February 4 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

CARRIED

14 – 2012 JOHNSON: That Council declares that the next regular meeting is to be held on December 10 2012 at 6:00 p.m, whereas the newly elected councilor will attend and be sworn in to council of Tuxford.

CARRIED NEW BUSINESS

15-2012 JOHNSON: That Council set the water rates bylaw at the next regular council meeting to reflect $35.00 per month for max of 2500 gallons and that each 1000 gallons of use thereafter be charged $10.00 per 1,000 gallons. sewage rates to remain at $15.00 per 3 months.

16-2012 JOHNSON: That Council accepts the verbal report from the Administrator indicating that the office will be closed to attend the SUMA convention from

January 28 2012 until February 2 2012.

CARRIED

17-2012 JOHNSON: That Council request that the Administrator look into the bylaws regarding the parking of registered vehicles and the water arrears regulations and report back to council at the next regular council meeting. CARRIED

18-2012 JOHNSON: That the next Council Meeting will be held on Friday February 10 2012 at 6:00 p.m.

CARRIED

19-2012 JOHNSON: That the meeting be adjourned.
