Jeffery Staser Biography Federal Co-Chairman Denali Commission

Staser has been the Federal Chairman of the Denali Commission since its inception in 1999. A fourth generation Alaskan, he worked for Senator Stevens as Legislative Aide for Natural Resources and Infrastructure for over four years prior to his current appointment.

Staser is a graduate of West Point and earned three Masters Degrees, including an MBA from S.F.S.U., an MA from Webster University and a Masters of Construction Management from Stanford University. He culminated his military career as Assistant Director of Civil Works for the Corps of Engineers.

He is the President of the Alaska Federal Executives Association, and a Board member of the Foraker Group and Commonwealth North, and is active in various other civic and professional groups both in Alaska and nationally.
