SEVENTH ANNUAL BRUSH, BOTTLE AND BARREL OF THE BLUEGRASS RAISES $50,000 FOR LEGAL AID

LOUISVILLE, KY—The Legal Aid Society held its signature fundraising event, the Brush, Bottle, and Barrel of the Bluegrass, on Friday, April 23rd, at Louisville Collegiate School. The event raised $50,000 for Legal Aid and attracted a record crowd of 550 supporters.

The Brush, Bottle and Barrel of the Bluegrass is a preview party for the Cherokee Triangle Art Fair. Fifteen select artists who participated in the Cherokee Triangle Art Fair were on hand to display and sell their art in advance of the Fair.

The event also featured tastings of Kentucky wines, bourbons, and beers. Vendors included Tom Moore Distillery, Four Roses Distillery, Maker’s Mark Distillery, Old Pogue Distillery, Acres of Land Winery, Broad Run Vineyards, Elk Creek Vineyards, Lovers Leap Vineyards and Winery, StoneBrook Winery, Wight-Meyer Vineyards & Winery, Bluegrass Brewing Company, Alltech’s Lexington Brewing Company, and Dumante.

Atria Senior Living Group and Stoll Keenon Ogden were gold sponsors of the event. Conway Law Offices; Ferreri & Fogle; Franklin, Gray & White; Greenebaum Doll & McDonald; Norton Healthcare; and Stites & Harbison were silver sponsors. Bronze sponsors included AT&T Kentucky; Ditsler Insurance; Fifth Third Bank; Kaufman, Stigger & Hughes; Kentucky Elderlaw; Pregliasco Straw-Boone & Doheny; Thompson, Miller & Simpson; and Yum! Brands. The Event Company provided event design and décor.
