Thank Aspire to succeed the SSO for the Construction and Property you so much for sending me the industries. I am just contacting you to inform you email. that the Certificate II in Cleaning Operations is no 07/06/2016 longer being removed from the CPP training package. The AISC rejected the case for endorsement put forward by the previous Industry Skills Council for its removal, due to its use in Victoria (and elsewhere) for disadvantaged populations. As a result, we will be updating this qualification to the 2012 Training Package Standards within the next year, and it will remain on the National Register. We will be seeking consultation for this purpose later in the year. 19/09/16 Bruce Whiteley I have attached an invitation to undertake work 21/09/16 As discussed I cannot document for the transition of 15 units of competency Operations Director that form part of the Cert II in Cleaning Operations. see any rationale to re-create all Daniels Assoc the Certificate III units and re- Hospitality Institute of Australia I have attached the associated templates for use with package them as certificate II this work also for your review. units. That being said, from our discussion if the Certificate II packaging has 15 units of competency there will be very few additional units required for a Certificate III qualification? I note the Certificate II in Hospitality qualification has 12 units of competency – other cert II qualifications have 11 units of competency. I am not sure what to make of all this?

My thoughts/discussion points include specific AQF 2 units for:

1. WHS

2. Introduction to Customer service

3. A unit such as BSBWOR203 Work effectively with others

4. A basic hygiene unit – there is nothing in the course about hygiene – which is a bit unfortunate because the reason we clean is to maintain a safe level of hygiene for both cleaning staff and people who use the buildings being cleaned.

5. CPPCLO2033A Plan for safe

Current units to make up to 11/12 units include using the following units for the Cert II qualification:

6. Maintain cleaning storage areas

7. Maintain furniture, fittings and room dressing

8. Clean wet areas

9. Sort and remove waste and recyclable materials

10. Maintain hard floor surface

11. Maintain carpeted floors

12. Clean glass surfaces
