Originator Supervisor: Tim Burzette Phone: (619) 207-8706 Date: 2/16/12 Org: SD Position Description Position/Title: Engineering Technician Date to be filled (if Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Military SATCOM Systems vacant): 27 Feb 2011 Description of Project: This effort provides for In Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) and Installation Support Services for Integrated and Non- Integrated Shipboard Installations of various communications systems as defined through the issuance of individual task orders for the RF Systems/ Fleet Engineering Division, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego, CA. Code 412. Duties of Position: - Perform SOVT on Military SATCOM systems - Provide OJT for Military SATCOM systems - Perform engineering analysis for failure trend analysis - Test and PITCO above deck and below deck Military SATCOM equipment - Perform installation support for Military SATCOM systems - Test and validate installed Military SATCOM equipment including operation, integration, ship and shore based connectivity, associated baseband interfaces.

Required Education Training and Qualifications: Desired Qualifications: An AS degree in industrial engineering, electronics technology, information systems, computer science or other related technical field and twelve years engineering technician experience providing technical support to engineers in such areas as research, design, development, testing, or manufacturing process improvement. Experience in supervision of lower level technicians. Remarks: Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Location of position: SPAWAR HQ OT-2, San Diego, CA

Duration of position: Full Time

Minimum clearance required: Possess or have ability to acquire Secret Clearance

Required travel: 10-40% of the time
