Have You Ever Reached a Rainbows End

I Believe Have you ever reached a rainbows end And did you find your pot of gold Ever catch a shooting star Tell me how high did you soar Ever felt like you were dreaming Just to find that you're awake Cause the magic that surrounds you Will lift you up and guide you on your way

I can see it in the stars across the sky Dreamt a hundred thousand dreams before Now I finally realize See I've waited all my life for this moment to arrive And finally yeah

I believe in the impossible If I reach deep within my heart Overcome any obstacle Won't let this dream fall apart See I strive to be the very best Shine my light for all to see Cause anything is possible When you believe

American Idol winner, Fantasia Barrino recorded that song, I Believe. It is a beautiful song with a message.

At Valdosta State University, the Lady Blazer basketball program is led by Kiley Hill. Kiley is a very good young coach. He has adopted the slogan, "Believe" , for his program. It is on their t-shirts, on their newsletters, letterhead, posters, and even on the doors into the coaching staff offices. Has "Believe" helped Coach Hill turn the Lady Blazer program into one to be reckoned with? If the results of the past season are any indication, you better believe it has.

VSU finished the season 24-7. Along the way the Lady Blazers won the Gulf South Conference East Division. They finished second at the GSC losing on a last second shot. They qualified for the NCAA D-2 Tournament. And, they led the nation in team defense. Losing only three players off this years team, Kiley will be faced with the task of duplicating or surpassing this years results. BELIEVE he will get the job done.

"The number one problem that keeps people from winning in the United States today is lack of belief in themselves." Authur L. Williams

"Belief in oneself is one of the most important bricks in building any successful venture." Frank Gifford--NFL "Hall of Fame"
