Insight Resume (Written Experiential Assessment)

EWU Insight Resume 2015-16

Please respond to two of the four essay questions that appear below. Each response is limited to 1250 characters (approximately 250 words). Before beginning, take a few moments to carefully plan your essay. Keep your responses as complete as possible while focusing on as much detail as possible.

Discuss an attribute, talent or accomplishment that distinguishes you from your peers.

In preparing your response consider the following:  examples of your creativity; your leadership and/or service experiences  examples of how you have influenced others and/or contributed to group efforts

Describe a significant academic or personal challenge and the steps you took to address the challenge.

In preparing your response consider the following:  what you have learned about yourself as a result of that challenge  how the challenge prepared you to be successful at EWU

Describe ways you have contributed to your community to make it better.

In preparing your response consider the following:  examples of specific projects in which you have been involved over time  your ability to understand diverse perspectives

Discuss a person or event that has influenced who you are as an individual.

In preparing your response consider the following:  examples of how you developed and achieved goals as a result of this influence  the role of a support person in helping you shape your dreams and aspirations
