3. Items for discussion/Action  2013 Publications- reminder to collect electronically as part of annual review process. SJN  Annual Reviews, continuation, etc- 1st yr done, others were due Jan. 10th. SJN  Engineering Marvels- good on episodes for now. SJN  IEPs- 1 or 2 missing still, CHNG turned in. SJN  Faculty/Staff hiring- 2 visiting in CH approved (SJN), asst prof in EE & CS & visiting asst prof approved (SJN), Dr. Trivedi will be moved to permanent line (SJN), IE asst prof approved (SJN), replacement for Dr. Razzak still going & sustainable energy still going (SO), asst prof for CE approved (SJN), asst/assoc prof for EVEN approved (SJN), assoc dean approved (SJN), admin asst for EE/ME not yet approved (SJN), asst prof in ME controls not approved (SJN).  EFCREO Update- 2nd external advisory board mtg coming up, working w/ DoL grant to make plans for call center, mtg w/port of CC soon, pipeline wkshp coming up soon, also running publications thru Shell magazine, getting broad range of faculty involved. JR  Classrooms- proper matching to class caps, seating capacity, etc. Need to go around classrooms and making sure proper # of chairs are in each room. SJN  Graduate Admissions- mtg w/Drs. Abdelrahman & Gandy to maintain balance of GR students to faculty ratio, working on details. SJN  Other- provided updates on computer upgrades, will ask for volunteers for beta test, focus only on what students need to complete courses. BB

4. Events  South Texas-Coastal Bend STEM Coalition, 9am – 1pm, Feb. 21st  Annual Engineering Senior Design conference, 8am- 1:30pm, April 24th  Engineering Advisory Council, 2pm- 5pm, April 24th  Annual Senior Dinner, May 8th  Commencement, May 9th, 7pm

5. Rumors, Conspiracies, etc  Transfer days @ Del Mar next Tuesday if anyone wants to go. AM
