Part 2 For each film, write a brief synopsis of the film, including the main protagonist, main antagonist, and major supporting characters, along with a brief movie critique. Discuss the acting, choreography, plot, and other elements of the film.

Part 3 Provide a short-answer response for each aspect of P.I.R.A.T.E.S. Be sure to use specific scenes and/or dialogue to substantiate the relevant aspect. Please note that P.I.R.A.T.E.S concepts may overlap. One plot element, scene, or act can illustrate two or more aspects. Therefore, concentrate your response toward the most relevant aspect. Consider point of view, bias, and perspective.

Some P.I.R.A.T.E.S concepts in a film may be quite obvious, while others may be vague or indirectly addressed. It is recommended that you research the relevant historical events and time periods and P.I.R.A.T.E.S concepts prior to watching the films and writing the reviews.

Example In the movie, Avatar, the Na’vi consider Hometree sacred. A short-answer response could be dedicated to discussing the significance of the Na’vi Hometree in Religion. However, humans discover vast amounts of a precious mineral under the tree. A short-answer response could be dedicated to discussing the potential destruction of Hometree as the environmental impact in Technology or Economics.
