Cincinnati Chapter ASGA Monthly Meeting NOVEMBER 19, 2013

The meeting was called to order by President Tim Maybury.

ATTENDANCE: There were 18 members in attendance tonight and 0 guests.

Tonight’s SPLIT-THE-POT prize of $40.00 went to Joyce Bender.

TREASURER’S REPORT: Treasurer Andy Mason reported that, after monies were collected for the holiday party and monies owed to members were paid, we would have a total of $1498.00 in the treasury. This sum does not include the club’s $40.00 share of Split-the-Pot.

SOCIAL: We have a variety of non-golf activities to look forward to in the off- season:  Marsha reminded us that our holiday party will be held on December 7 at the Firehouse Grill in Blue Ash at 6:00 p.m. Bring a $10.00 gift for the gift exchange, either liquor or golf related. Also, submit to Marsha a photo of yourself as a baby or young child as soon you can for a “Who’s that baby?” contest at the party.  We will hold a silent auction at the holiday party for some great golf prizes.  We are once again asking for donations for the Adopt-a-Family Christmas gift drive. Send your checks to Andrea Mason, 5009 Columbia Cir., Hamilton, OH 45011.  Dinner at Putters in Maineville and a tour of holiday lights in Morrow, OH, on December 17.  There will be another bowling party at Colerain Bowl on January 18.  Pat Dixon will set up a Go Kart race meet at Full Throttle (located near Dave & Buster’s), date to be announced. It is cheaper for a group of 20, $37.50. This event sounds like a lot of fun!

GOLF: There are no golf outings scheduled currently, but that doesn’t mean the die-hards among us won’t be out flailing around on some golf course if we should happen to get some warm days. For those of us who are hungry for some statistics, Tom will have a record of every member’s participation in outings over the season, with results, available at the party.

SAVE THE DATE! Tom announced that next year’s Perry Park outing has already been scheduled for the weekend of October 10 thru 14th, 2014.

ELECTIONS: Elections for all elected offices were held at this meeting. We did not hold elections in October due to the modest turn-out.
