MEETING MINUTES BY Glenda Hazellief, Teacher ATTENDEES Principal: Heather Gelb Dean: Anthony Forentino (attach sign in sheet) Literacy Coach: Jessica Hunter ART: Cheri Tremarco CRT: Jessica Noblin Teachers: Christine Peters, Glenda Hazellief, Patricia Gordy Support Staff: David Jones, Giselle Albelo, Parents: Cicilye Singleton, Patrice Bingham, Amanda Powers, Danny Powers, Dominique Gaspard, Rachel McCullough AGENDA ITEMS Call to Order Meeting was called to order at 6:15 p.m. by Heather Gelb ______Approval of minutes from Christine Peters moved to approve July 14, 2016 minutes. Giselle Albelo last meeting seconded. Motion was approved ______Unfinished Business/Old There was no old or unfinished business. Business New Business New business: Mrs. Gelb reviewed SAC by-laws. ______Nominations for officers were opened. Chair: Giselle Albelo, Co-Chair: David Jones Secretary: Glenda Hazellief Treasurer: Jessica Noblin There being no further nominations Cicilye Singleton moved to approve the nominations. Dominique Gaspard seconded. The motion was approved. • Mr. Simmons presented an in depth overview of Parent Involvement events. • At the next meeting he will explain how money is spent for Title I programs and involvement. • Amanda Powers agreed to inform parents who have not been able to acquire a Level 2 status for volunteering on how to work, through Tallahassee, to be reinstated for Level 2 background checks. • SAI Budget 2016-2017 for lowest quartile students , was reviewed. Budget is $10,531.00. Cicilye Singleton moved to approve the budget. Patrice Bingham seconded. After discussion the motion was approved. • Mrs. Gelb reviewed the Purpose of the School Advisory Council- Part 1. Other Next meeting Monday, October 3, at 6:30 p.m. after PTO meeting.

Meeting Adjourned Cicilye Singleton moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:20 p.m. Dominique Gaspard seconded the motion. Motion was approved.
